Children's growth planning in primary school
In the second-child kindergarten stage, because I was too busy to take care of my children, I basically had no plans for my children. Fortunately, there were enough books at home, and the two children unconsciously formed the habit of reading.

It seems that every child loves painting, perhaps because I don't have time to point out where they don't draw enough. The two children were born with the natural attribute of loving painting. Now children show strong enthusiasm for painting and art tutoring. Just one sentence: it is better not to educate children than to educate them wrongly. As Montessori said, "natural growth". Children do not depend on adults or parents, and will grow up on their own.

Now that the children are in primary school, I am more free than before. In the upcoming first grade, self-evaluation of this year's performance is still very good. I hope that the remaining primary schools can continue to persist for five years.

In order to plan more clearly, I made the following arrangements.

1, shaping a healthy body;

2. Cultivate children's aesthetics;

3. Guide children to read;

4. Train children's thinking ability;

5. Give children room to grow freely.

1, build a healthy body.

No matter how busy the work is, children should try to eat less takeaway and snacks, ensure sleep and do more exercise.

Although I am busy at work, I insist that the children eat by themselves. Make sure to eat fish at least two or three times a week, eat vegetables and meat at every meal, and sometimes eat chicken or duck. Tofu is eaten once a week and soup is cooked at least once a week.

When a child catches a cold, I first choose Chinese patent medicine, rarely use western medicine, and basically never use antibiotics. If you can take medicine, you don't need an injection. Both children were given injections twice after birth. Therefore, the resistance of two children is better than that of most children. Every time there is flu in class, the two brothers always stand firm.

Children are rarely allowed to eat snacks and drink less. Because there is no habit of eating snacks, both brothers don't like snacks very much now. Their favorite snacks are red dates, raisins and fruits. They don't like drinking either. Give them a drink, they can only take a few sips, and then stop drinking, put it on hold or throw it away. Unlike most children, their favorite drink is white water.

Virtually saved me a lot of heart. Eating habits, after all, are related to people's health all their lives. Without deliberately demanding, the two brothers actually have healthier eating habits.

Children have been playing football since kindergarten, and they have been playing football for three years now without interruption. Boys should always have a good exercise, which is good for children's health and can also cultivate masculinity and endurance. There are still football classes twice a week. These two children like football lessons very much. This sport, whether they like it or not, should last at least until the third grade. At present, children like it very much, so they won't do it if they don't let them. There is a momentum of rain or shine.

When I was in the middle class in kindergarten, my child volunteered to tell me that I wanted to play football. I deliberately ignored it and replied every time: think again. After he said it several times, I took him to the park for two laps, about 3 kilometers. I asked him: Are you tired? He replied: a little tired. I said: now playing football is more tiring than running two laps. Do you still want to kick? He replied: I want to kick. I added: If you decide to learn to play football, you must stick to it until you grow up. Can you do it? He replied: Yes. We are going to sign a contract with the football coach.

I repeatedly shirked it just to remind him of the difficulty of making a decision and the hard opportunity, so that he could not give up easily after making a decision. Secondly, I want to let children know in advance that it is difficult to learn any skill, and it is not as easy and interesting as it looks.

Some parents want their children to learn a skill. They like to cajole and cheat. I don't quite agree with this kind of guidance. Sooner or later, it will be revealed, and then the child will not insist and feel cheated by his parents. When children find out in the process of learning, the learning of this skill is not as beautiful as parents say. Of course it's easy to give up.

I need children to face up to difficulties and face them.

If we don't want our children to change their minds, we want them to be loyal, persistent and hardworking. I think as long as children can persist in physical exercise for more than ten years, our educational goal will be achieved. There is no need to preach or worry unnecessarily.

2. Cultivate children's aesthetics.

Personally, I think that enrolling in piano classes and art classes is not to let children master a certain skill, but to let children have their own unique aesthetics.

In kindergarten, two children draw pictures at will, and I have never made any suggestions or demands. At that time, the two brothers painted very unevenly, and the color matching was simply pleasing. This color is often drawn outside the grid. Looking at other people's children's neat paintings, and then comparing their own children's confusion, I am in distress situation. Fortunately, I restrained myself and didn't make any artistic norms for my children. I let them develop freely and spontaneously in art. My idea is that since they don't know anything about art majors, it is better to let children play freely and not ruin their interest and inspiration.

Kindergarten never helps when handing in homework. Whether it's making lanterns or the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon's cartoons, children solve them themselves. Of course, it is basically impossible to evaluate excellent works in the end. But I will encourage you from the side and admire you very much! He also threatened to collect it well, and it may not sell well in the future.

Now I am in primary school. Fortunately, I finally found a recognized art institution. The two children are also very interested in learning. Now the painting is getting better and better. I still let them scribble on white paper. Sometimes they can sit at a desk or stand in front of a blackboard and paint for two or three hours.

From the first semester of senior one, I took my two brothers to read the world and China's famous paintings and learn about the life story of the painter. Now they have known famous painters such as Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Monet, Qi Baishi and their corresponding representative works, and learned their representative works and life experiences.

The two brothers are willing to draw their own impressions. When reading about human immunity, they imagine immune cells fighting bacteria. When reading history, they can imagine the appearance of historical figures. Pea seedlings climbed onto the branches of the balcony, and they also recorded them with pictures.

It all happened very naturally! They have their own aesthetics, are interested in painting and can express their feelings through painting. I want to achieve the goal of art education, so it is natural.

Sometimes the growth of children really surprises us!

Both children began to learn piano at the age of three. In the first semester of senior one, I was required to practice two songs every day, five times each, and the progress was very obvious. This semester, due to my busy work and lack of supervision, the progress has obviously slowed down. I have plenty of time next semester, so the piano should be better.

I know little about music. Dare not do too much, can only supervise the practice of the piano. What can be done is to guide children to read musicians' stories and listen to music. The two children like to listen to ancient paintings, Peking Opera, Shaanxi Opera and Errenzhuan, and they like to watch dramas and musicals. I often laugh, and sometimes my brother will burst into tears. Most operas in China have been recognized. But no one likes listening to piano music, which I didn't expect. Fortunately, I found the two brothers' favorite music program "Teacher Xiaolong listens to classics" on the Himalayas, so they also got a general understanding of world famous songs.

3. Guide children to read.

It can be said that reading guidance is the best thing I have done. Because I usually read more books, I have some experience in reading. When planning for children, I am not blind or radical. I feel very comfortable.

When my children went to kindergarten, I was very busy at work and didn't make strict plans. Like other families, I read various picture books and scattered popular science books. Children don't study systematically, and they don't deliberately cultivate their abilities. Fortunately, the child has developed the reading habit, otherwise he will regret it.

I have been at leisure since I was in a large kindergarten class, so I began to make a long-term study plan for my two children.

I began to analyze and plan children's long-term reading.

The reading standard I personally follow is: 1. Read books that are slightly more difficult than my existing understanding, logic and knowledge. 2, you can't look at it at will, pay attention to the logical order. 3. Some books are intensive reading, some books are rough reading, and some books need to be read repeatedly.

A book is easy to read and has no difficulty in understanding. This book may not be very useful, but it is good for children to read freely to kill time. Understanding is too difficult for children to understand, which is not desirable and discourages children's enthusiasm. So the choice of difficulty is very important.

Children's world is blank in many ways. Reading should be logical, and the order between disciplines and modules within disciplines should be sorted out. In the wrong order, a lot of reading time is equivalent to a waste, and children can't understand the corresponding points and appreciate the fun of reading. For example, natural science and humanities have corresponding internal logical order.

Rough reading books can be read by children themselves, and the corresponding books are child-centered. Parents mainly guide intensive reading and rereading books. This will not only save parents' time, but also prioritize and let children learn to read independently.

So I think three points in reading standards are very important.

Next, I want to analyze the specific situation and planning of children's reading.

I bought a set of Secret when I was in a small class in kindergarten. * * * There are more than a dozen books, all from pop-up book. This set of books covers all aspects of science and is very good as an introductory book for children's science. Before the big class, I took the children to see it piecemeal, but I didn't see it thoroughly. I need to do it again.

In addition, if children want to read books such as humanities and social sciences, geography and poetry classics. They must read history first. Only by reading history and understanding the cultural background can we understand humanities books. I found that the comic version of Up and Down Five Thousand Years is an introduction to children's history. History is much more difficult to understand than fairy tales, and there are always some obscure words no matter how popular. The logic of history is also very strong, and how to advance step by step is coherent, which increases the difficulty of understanding. Fortunately, there are cartoons in this form, which make the original history easy to understand, vivid and interesting.

Finally, when children go to kindergarten, the teacher asks them to recite the three-character classics and the foundation of Chinese studies with hundreds of surnames. But individuals don't agree. Although they recite, they don't understand. Even if you understand the meaning, children will feel that the story and truth are too far away from them. On the one hand, children can't understand the difference between ancient society and the present; On the other hand, the writing is dry and tasteless, and there is no childlike interest, which obliterates the innocence and spirituality of children. Not as good as modern poetry. The writing is beautiful, interesting and easy to understand. Reading poems makes people witty, and children need to read some poems. I found a century-old classic of children's literature. This set of calligraphy and painting has a beautiful style and a good choice of style, including modern poetry, fairy tales, children's dramas, essays and other literary genres, which makes me a treasure.

Through the above analysis, I made a preliminary overall plan for the study of the two children in primary school.

Planning is the main task, and other reading is arranged by the children themselves.

I would like to explain the above arrangement as follows.

(1) Reflections on the humanities and social sciences.

The introductory books for the big class include the Secret Science Series, Five Thousand Years of History, and Centennial Classics of China Children's Literature. These three sets of books, each set of more than a dozen, can be read repeatedly. I didn't stipulate which set to look at first and which set to look at later. The children went to the study to choose. Sometimes, children will choose to read some other books, and I am not limited. But I will tell my children that I am not responsible for explaining, and I can read freely. When I want to listen to my explanation, I can just give me any of these three books myself. I only ask one thing, to ensure that I have 1-2 hours of reading time every day.

Both children like these three sets of books, mainly because they are lively and interesting. When the kindergarten is in large classes, they will choose more secrets and children's literature. Perhaps it is because these two sets of books are relatively easy to understand in history.

But in the first grade, the two children's understanding ability has been greatly improved because of one year's systematic reading, and they are gradually fascinated by history. In the year of the big class, I read the history piecemeal, almost 14 history books, and read every one. When the first grade of primary school was last semester, our mother and son reread it for about three and a half months. By the end of the first grade, the two children had read the book "Up and Down Five Thousand Years" twice. They have a basic understanding of the change of dynasties. I can name a dynasty at will, and they can also name the dynasties before and after. Who was the founding emperor of each dynasty; Representatives and main viewpoints of a hundred schools of thought contend; The life background and main works of famous ancient literati. More importantly, they summed up from the rise and fall of the dynasty that people should work hard and not seek pleasure, otherwise, even the emperor is in danger of being destroyed; They also came to a conclusion that it is not terrible to encounter difficulties, so we must persist in our efforts; After reading history, children will think independently about the differences or advantages and disadvantages between the current social system and ancient times, and more or less understand the lack of talent of ancient literati, the loyalty of heroes and the courage of the people with lofty ideals. I don't need to say much about many principles of being a man, they will naturally understand. As Bacon said, reading history makes people wise. I want to add that "reading history makes people understand"

In the comic version of five thousand years, the language is popular, but it is not popular. After reading a story, there are at least a dozen idioms and many words that are rarely used in life, such as "acceded to the throne", "riot" and "government affairs". You can only explain it to your child slowly, so that your child can have unexpected gains. They have a strong understanding of words. They never need me to explain the meaning of Chinese and math problems. When I meet words I don't know, I read the questions quickly and they immediately understand the meaning. The two children also played idioms solitaire's games independently, and they were able to connect several games. I have never played idioms solitaire with my children, nor have I asked them to accumulate idioms. I feel that children don't understand meaning and don't know allusions. Remembering idioms is just a waste of time. Unexpectedly, after reading history twice, idioms have made great progress. Not only did I memorize it, but I also understood it by myself through stories and contexts, which is much better than rote memorization.

Five thousand years have given children a preliminary understanding of the history of China, while The History of Children's China has given children a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of history. 65438+ On the first day of February, we finished reading Five Thousand Years and started another set of history books, Chen Weiping's History of Children's China. This set of books, the pictures are also in color, and the pictures are beautiful, but not many. Based on words, it makes sense that senior one children are reluctant to read books based on words. But the brothers still like it. There are 14 books in this set, and we have finished reading 1 1 books now.

Why can two children accept a book full of words at such a young age? I made the following summary:

(1) has a basic knowledge and can read; ② The language of the book is easy to understand and the story is coherent and smooth; ③ Compared with five thousand years ago, the content is more substantial and fresh, but the difficulty gradient between them is not great.

With a historical foundation, it is much easier to learn other disciplines of humanities and social sciences. Children will think and understand problems in the context of big times. Not to mention it is of great help to the literature to be learned in grade two. Children already know the names of most writers and the historical background of their dynasties, which can help them better understand literary works. Without a historical foundation, how can we understand literary works?

(2) Thinking about Chinese.

Many families are adding Chinese studies to their children, and schools are also adding them, requiring children to recite three-character classics, quatrains or metrical poems, but they are scattered and cannot meet my requirements.

I hope children can systematically study China literature, the genre and background of works, and the author's life story. Learn to appreciate all kinds of literary works and let children have literary literacy. Therefore, although the children were asked to recite according to the requirements of the school, they did not focus on their studies and did not spend time explaining their works to them. Even if it is explained, it will only increase the burden on the child, and the child's understanding is not deep enough, and it will be chaotic.

I want such a set of children's literature books. I'll talk about Tang poetry and Song poetry first, then Yuan Qu, then the Book of Songs, Chu Ci, Yuefu, literature of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and then a hundred schools of thought contend, novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern literature, roughly in this order. Taking the representative writers and works of various dynasties as the starting point, this paper explains the literary characteristics of this era; Taking the dynasty and the writer's life as the background, explain the background of the work and the emotions expressed; Appreciate the work, not the translation, and guide the children to analyze what is good about the work.

These are my ideal Chinese textbooks. But it is ideal after all. Is there such a Chinese document on the market? And it should be aimed at children, and it is much more demanding than adult books in terms of words and typesetting.

I've been looking for it for months, but I can't find it. I even thought of it. Why don't I make it up myself? As you can imagine, it is a great challenge for me, a math teacher, to compile a set of systematic Chinese textbooks. When I was once disheartened, I mentioned my thoughts to my husband. He woke me up. He said: What you want belongs to a big language, which is hard to find in the market. Only training institutions have it. According to this idea, I successfully found a set of teaching materials, Siquan Chinese. I found that its arrangement order and logic were magically consistent with my expectation, which surprised me very much and made me more sure of my own thinking.

My child didn't start learning Chinese until the summer vacation of senior high school, so I bought it first and watched it myself. Although the idea of book arrangement is the same as I expected, I still don't have much hope for books. I train and teach mathematics myself. I have never been exposed to Chinese, but I still have some basic discrimination ability. Many books on the market are dismissive of me. And this set of books surprised me. The arrangement of each book and each lesson can be called extremely meticulous.

For example, the first lesson is about the literature of the Tang Dynasty. Starting with the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty, taking Wang Bo as the representative, this paper focuses on the work "Sending Du Shaofu to Zhou Shu", which is also an appreciation work, not a translation. This paper introduces the background of this work and the author's position in early Tang literature. This paper expounds the life stories of the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty and recommends their representative works. In this lesson, I plan to spend a week explaining it to my children and slowly let them memorize the poems and recommended works that appear in the book. Each book has about 20 lessons. You can accumulate one book in half a year and have time to review.

Besides China literature, it also introduces and recommends foreign literature. I know nothing about foreign literature, which saves me a lot of time.

In a word, I am very satisfied with this set of books. Of course, how to study it and how much value it produces depends on the individual.

(3) Thinking about mathematics

My university and graduate students are both mathematics majors, and their understanding of mathematics should be deeper than that of non-mathematics majors. Mathematics is the foundation of all sciences.

Due to time constraints, we will continue to share it next week.

(4) Thinking about other basic natural disciplines.

(5) Thinking about economy and philosophy.

4. Deliberately train children's thinking ability.

5. Give children enough room for free growth.
