According to their own interests and the requirements of the school and major they want to apply for, candidates independently choose three of the seven high school level examination subjects: politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology and technology. The selected subjects are scored according to the published proportion and grade, with a full score of 100 for each subject, and the scores of selected subjects account for 40% of the total score of the college entrance examination.
Candidates can apply as long as one elective subject meets the requirements set by colleges and universities.
Specifically: colleges and universities designated as a subject, only candidates who have passed the subject can apply; Designated as 2 or 3 subjects, candidates can only apply for this major (category) if one of the selected subjects is within the requirements of the selected subjects determined by colleges and universities; If there are no restrictions on the subjects to be selected, candidates can apply for this major (category) without sorting the subjects.
In the current college entrance examination, liberal arts candidates can only apply for about 34% majors (categories), and science candidates can only apply for about 66% majors (categories). This means that after the implementation of the new college entrance examination program, the candidates' professional choices have been greatly improved compared with the current liberal arts subjects in the college entrance examination.
