Reflections on how to do a good job in mathematics teaching in primary and junior high schools
First, the differences in learning content. There are differences in the content and curriculum of mathematics textbooks between primary school and junior high school. The teaching content of each class in primary school is few and simple, and the practice time is much, which is easy for students to understand and strengthen in repeated practice. However, each class of junior high school mathematics involves many knowledge points, with strong knowledge system and short practice time. If you can't do a good job in preview and review after class, it is difficult for students to master the content of a lesson. Secondly, there are differences in teacher education and teaching methods. The content of primary school mathematics mostly comes from life, which is interesting and does not need strong logical thinking ability. Therefore, teachers pay attention to guiding students to learn in life situations, and to stimulating and cultivating students' interest in learning, so that students can experience the emotional experience that mathematics comes from and serves life. In contrast, junior high school mathematics teaching requires students to think in a rational way, pay attention to students' ability of independent inquiry and group cooperation in the teaching process, and infiltrate mathematical thinking methods into daily teaching, thus emphasizing the improvement of students' learning ability and thinking mode. Mathematics learning is a process of knowledge accumulation and thinking improvement. If a student can't adapt to mathematics learning in the seventh grade, he will soon become a student with mathematics learning difficulties in the eighth and ninth grades. As a junior high school math teacher, combining my own teaching experience and exploring the effective connection between primary school math and junior high school math, I give some suggestions. First, the cultivation of computing ability The beginning of junior high school mathematics is mainly the cultivation of computing ability. For example, rational numbers, algebraic expressions and the calculation of equations all involve the four operations of decimals and fractions. However, in teaching, I found that students' ability to calculate decimals and fractions is weak, and the general and approximate fractions of fractions are easy to make mistakes and the calculation speed is slow. Then students encounter difficulties and setbacks as soon as they enter junior high school mathematics learning, and the students who have the most confidence in calculation gradually lose confidence, which directly affects students' interest in junior high school mathematics learning. The calculation of junior high school mathematics is also the basis of learning physical chemistry, and complex calculations are often involved in physical subjects. Therefore, primary school's computing ability is not only the foundation of junior high school's computing ability, but also a key to enhance students' confidence in learning mathematics after entering junior high school. Therefore, whether it is primary school mathematics or junior high school mathematics, it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students' computing ability, so that students' junior high school mathematics learning can achieve the most basic and effective convergence. Second, the cultivation of students' study habits When students just enter junior high school, as teachers, they should give students guidance on learning methods and cultivate students' good study habits. In order to reduce the learning difficulty of students in class, we should guide students to learn to preview before class and review after class, do a good job in accumulating wrong questions and papers, finish homework on time and carefully, and correct it in time after teachers give feedback. Some teachers think that students' writing habits should be the responsibility of Chinese teachers, and I think this is a job that every teacher should take seriously, because different subjects have different writing formats and requirements. In mathematics, each question type has a different solution format. Teachers should not only ask students to write neatly, but also write in strict accordance with the standard of problem-solving format, which runs through students' mathematics learning process from primary school to junior high school, because rigorous writing can shape rigorous mathematical thinking, which is very important for mathematics learning. The cultivation of these habits and interests varies from student to student and from teacher to teacher. Every teacher can put forward requirements and give guidance to students according to the situation. Third, understand the learning situation and improve yourself. On the one hand, junior high school math teachers should first understand what students have learned in primary school, so as to do math teaching from primary school to junior high school better. Many learning contents in primary schools are related to junior high school knowledge, but the difficulty requirements are not high, such as one-dimensional linear equations, three views and so on. Understand the relationship between mathematics knowledge in primary and secondary schools, realize the promotion of old knowledge to new knowledge in teaching, and grasp the differences and connections between them, so as to truly realize the effective connection of mathematics knowledge. On the other hand, as a primary school teacher, we should also explore some mathematical thinking methods when preparing lessons, which can lay the foundation for the improvement of students' logical thinking and make students connect with junior high school mathematics learning in knowledge, methods and thinking. This process is also a process of self-learning and improvement for mathematics teachers in primary and secondary schools. Why not? Fourth, cultivate interest and confidence in mathematics learning. Mathematics learning is both interesting and challenging. A child who is interested in math learning is more willing to challenge difficult problems. Some students described doing problems as full of fun as passing customs, but for some children, math learning is the most troublesome thing. The difference between them is that the former is full of interest and confidence in mathematics, while the latter is just the opposite. In order to improve different students, students are divided into different groups so that students can help each other with their studies and assignments at different levels. In this way, students with learning difficulties will be interested in learning mathematics. In a word, only by attaching importance to the effective connection between primary and secondary mathematics, allowing students to adapt to junior high school mathematics learning as soon as possible, and letting students learn to learn independently, can they truly become the main body of learning, thus laying a solid foundation for future learning, thus truly solving the effective connection between primary school mathematics and junior high school mathematics.
