Arithmetic progression's summation formula

Sum = (first item+last item) * Number of items /2

So the original formula is equal to

( 1+ 19)* 10/2

- = 20/22 = 10/ 1 1

(2+20)* 10/2

I haven't found a simpler formula (did you learn this formula in grade five? ) method
