400 words after reading "Better late than never"
I have read many stories, but my favorite is the story of "better late than never" in a text I learned before.

This story is about a man who has ten lambs. One day, a wolf saw a hole in the sheepfold, so he sneaked into the sheepfold at night and ate a sheep. The next day, when he went to herd sheep, he found that one was missing. He didn't know there was a big hole in the sheepfold until he saw it. The wolf got in and ate the sheep. Someone advised him to repair the sheepfold, but he repeatedly stressed: "My sheep was eaten by wolves, and nothing will happen again." On the third day, he found another sheep missing. So he repaired the hole, and since then, he has never lost a sheep.

After reading this fable, I realized that I should correct my mistakes in time, learn from them and make fewer mistakes. At the same time, I also think of my usual shortcomings and deficiencies: I am not careful when I do my math homework, because I am not careful when I look at the questions, which is easy to miss the questions, and sometimes I write the wrong question number, which leads to the calculation error of the whole question. When my mother checked her homework after dinner, she asked me if I had finished it. Is there any mistake or omission? I also confidently said that it was all done and checked. Mom asked me to check it again, and I found out what was really missing or wrong. Mom also said that it is not terrible to have mistakes, but to see them and not correct them. Learning this fable made me realize the seriousness of these shortcomings, and I will try to make fewer mistakes in the future; Even if you do something wrong, you should correct it in time to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
