Yang Le 1962 graduated from Peking University; 1966 Graduate student of Institute of Mathematics, China Academy of Sciences. After graduation, he stayed in the Institute and served as an associate researcher, researcher and deputy director. 1980 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences; From 65438 to 0987, he became the director of the Institute of Mathematics of China Academy of Sciences.
1996 Established Morningside Mathematics Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and served as deputy director of academic committee; 1997 won the China Mathematics Award and the Mathematical Science Award; 1998 12 Institute of Mathematics and Systems Science of China Academy of Sciences was established, with Yang Le as the first dean; 10 died in Beijing on June 22nd at the age of 83.
