Sanming Experimental Primary School was founded in August 1959, formerly known as Hongxing Primary School in Sanming, and was named Liedong Primary School in Sanming in June, 1986, which belongs to Sanming Education Bureau. In 2004, according to the needs of educational reform and development in Sanming City, it was renamed as Sanming Experimental Primary School.
