What is the basic structure of GCT-ME logic test questions?
GCT- My Logic Test consists of three parts: stem, question and answer options.

The stem can state an argument, and the question involves how to evaluate, strengthen or weaken this argument; The stem can also state some conclusions, and the question involves what conclusions can be deduced from the conclusion of the stem; The stem of the question can also be an expression of thought, and the problem involves how to accurately understand the ideological content expressed by the stem of the question; Stems can also be statements with logical loopholes, and the problem involves how to determine or compare such logical errors, and so on. The answer option requires candidates to choose the appropriate answer to the question.

The stem of the question has a certain text length and information content, while other words are longer and more informative. Generally speaking, the text of the stem is particularly short or thin, which is not a typical GCT- I logic test. One of the test objectives of GCT- My Logic Test is the examinee's ability to read and understand written information. Therefore, the first challenge for candidates is how to understand and sort out the text information of the question quickly and accurately, and then how to make correct logical thinking on this basis.

The content of the topic involves nature, society, humanities and thinking, but it is only assumed that candidates have common sense in related fields, and there is no requirement or actual examination of professional knowledge in related fields.

[Example 7]

Astronomers have always believed that some substances in the universe are invisible. Studies have shown that if many nebulae are made up of visible planets, their moving speed is much faster than that observed under any conditions. Experts speculate that such nebulae contain invisible mass, and their gravity affects the motion of nebulae.

Which of the following is assumed in the discussion on this topic?

1. The word "invisible" means that it is impossible to be seen, not that it is too far away from the earth for human beings to see with the naked eye or with the help of astronomical telescopes.

Ⅱ. The total mass of the visible planets in the nebula can be accurately estimated.

Three. Invisible matter in the universe has all the attributes of visible matter except invisibility, such as gravity.

A. only i.b. only II.

C. only ⅰ and ⅱ. The first, second and third stages.

The answer is C.

Analysis: It is concluded that if many nebulae are made up of visible planets, their moving speed is much faster than that observed under any conditions. The motion of visible planets emphasized here is the motion that can be observed under any conditions. Therefore, invisible mentioned in the title means invisible, not too far away from the earth, invisible to the naked eye or with the help of astronomical telescopes, which is the first assumption in the title.

From stem, astronomers calculate the actual mass of the nebula from its moving speed; According to the difference between the actual mass of the nebula and the total mass of the visible planets in the nebula, it is inferred that the nebula contains invisible substances with great mass. If we can't accurately estimate the overall mass of the visible planets in the nebula, we can't infer the existence of invisible mass. Therefore, the second item is assumed by the discussion of the topic.

The discussion of the topic assumes that the invisible matter in the universe has some properties of visible matter, such as gravity, but it does not assume that it has all properties except invisibility. Conclusion ⅲ is too strong to undertake the discussion of the topic.

The topic involves astronomy, but it is only assumed that the candidates have relevant common sense, and the professional knowledge of astronomy is not required or actually tested.

GCT-ME logic test questions are multiple-choice questions, and the options as answers meet two conditions: first, they are correct; Second, sex. The so-called correctness means that the answer is the correct answer to the question; The so-called sex means that no other option is the correct answer to the question. If we think that there are two or more options in the same test question that satisfy the correctness, then we may encounter a puzzling item, that is, an option that seems to be effective but is actually invalid.

There are four answer options * * *.

Candidates may notice that except GCT- I, the answers of other competency-based exams at home and abroad are all five. If there are too many options, the discrimination may be reduced by inappropriately increasing the difficulty of the test questions; If there are too few options, the discrimination may be reduced because the probability influence value is too high. There is a scientific basis for choosing five answer options in the competency-based exam.

The test questions are divided into multiple-choice questions and multiple-choice questions.

The following example is a multiple-choice question.

[Example 8]

A football coach taught his players this way: "Heroes are always judged by the results in football matches. In the football match, you are either a winner or a loser; In the eyes of fans, you are either brave or cowardly. Since all winners are brave in the eyes of fans, every loser is a coward in the eyes of fans. "

In order to make the football coach's argument valid, which of the following must be assumed?

A. in the eyes of fans, the brave on the court will win.

B. fans have accurate judgment to distinguish between courage and cowardice.

C. the brave in the eyes of fans is not necessarily a real brave.

D Even on the court, winning or losing is not the standard to distinguish between bravery and cowardice.

The answer is a.

Analysis: In order to make the football coach's argument stand, item A must be assumed. Otherwise, if the winner is brave in the eyes of fans, but the brave person is not necessarily the winner, that is to say, there may be brave people among the losers, then it cannot be concluded that every loser is a coward in the eyes of fans, that is to say, the football coach's statement cannot be established.

The football coach concluded that "in the eyes of fans, every loser is a coward". According to the conditions on which the football coach's argument is based, the establishment of this conclusion does not depend on the accuracy of the fans' judgment, nor does it depend on whether the winners and losers are actually brave or cowardly, so the rest are not necessarily assumed.

The following example is a multiple-choice question.

[Example 9]

No one loves everyone; Cowherd loves weaver girl; The Weaver Girl loves everyone who loves the Cowherd.

If the above conclusion is true, which of the following cannot be true?

? Everyone loves cowherd.

? Everyone likes some people.

? ⅲ Weaver girl doesn't love cowherd.

A. only I; B. Only III; C. only ⅰ and ⅲ; The first, second and third stages.

A: A.

Analysis: From "The Weaver Girl loves everyone who loves the Cowherd" and replacing "Everyone who loves the Cowherd", we can draw the conclusion that "The Weaver Girl loves everyone", which contradicts the condition given in the title "No one loves everyone". Therefore, I can't be real.

Because the emotion of "love" is not transmitted, it is impossible to draw the conclusion that "the weaver girl loves all the people who love the cowherd", so the third option "the weaver girl doesn't love the cowherd" may be true.

Option 2 "Everyone loves some people" is not contradictory to the conditions given in the title, and may be true. So, only I can't be true.

There is only one question in a test question. Usually different test questions are based on different stem; But there are also two or more questions based on the same topic.

[Example 10]

1-2 is based on the following questions:

Among multiple-choice questions, only one correct answer is called multiple-choice questions, and at least one correct answer is called multiple-choice questions. For a strict multiple-choice question, the choice as an answer must meet two conditions: first, it is correct; Second, sex. The so-called correctness means that the answer is the correct answer to the question; The so-called sex means that no other option is the correct answer to the question. Therefore, if we think that two or more options in the same multiple-choice question are correct, then we must have encountered interference items, that is, options that seem to be effective but are invalid.

1. Which of the following is assumed by the above reasoning?

A. All multiple-choice questions are very strict.

B. Some multiple-choice questions are not rigorous.

C. there must be interference in the choice answer of multiple-choice questions.

D. there will be no interference items in multiple-choice questions.

A: A.

2. From the premise of the above reasoning, which of the following conclusions can be drawn:

First, the choice of strict single-choice questions must be met if it meets the correctness.

Two. A strict multiple-choice option, if it is correct, must not be satisfied.

Ⅲ An imprecise multiple-choice question, at least one of which is correct, is not satisfactory.

A.it's just me

B.only Ⅰ and Ⅱ.

C. only ⅲ.

D. Only Ⅰ and Ⅲ

A: A.

The following two questions are based on the same question. Among them, 1 is entitled multiple choice questions, and 2 is entitled multiple choice questions.

As pointed out in the stem of the above question, among multiple choices, a question with one and only one correct answer is called multiple choice, and a question with at least one correct answer can also be called multiple choice. Obviously, multiple-choice questions are more difficult than single-choice questions. Multiple choice is actually a kind of multiple choice (indirectly expressed in the form of single choice). So it is generally more difficult than direct multiple-choice questions.
