How to use trigonometric functions in EXCEL
In excel, trigonometric functions commonly used are not much different from what we learned in math class.

There is no cotangent, which can be obtained by the reciprocal of the tangent (tan) function.

Arcsine function, etc. , which are all expressed in asin form in excel.

The biggest difference between trigonometric functions in excel and those we use in mathematics is that:

The number in parentheses of excel function indicates radian, and the angle is used in mathematics.

So the use of trigonometric function in excel is that the angle must be converted into radian value by radian function first, and then the trigonometric function can be used to get the correct value.

For example, find the sine of 30.

=sin (radian (30))

Similarly, the value obtained by sine function in excel is radian. If angle value is needed, it can be converted by angle function.

For example, when the sine value is 0.5, find the corresponding angle.

= degree (asin(0.5))
