Analysis: suppose: my brother ate A and my brother ate B.

Because: "My brother eats a lot, and I miss one, which is half of what he eats", I get 2*(a- 1)=b is 1.

Because: my brother eats more, but my brother eats less, so he eats as much as his brother. B- 1=a is recorded as formula 2.

Substituting 2 formula a=b- 1 into 2a-2 = a+1 gives a=3 and b=4.
