The National Junior High School Mathematics Competition is a national subject competition organized by chinese mathematical society. It plays a positive role in stimulating middle school students' interest in learning mathematics, developing students' intelligence, cultivating students' innovative consciousness and ability, discovering and cultivating mathematics talents, promoting teaching reform and improving teaching level. According to the spirit of Mian [2006] Document No.3, we decided to organize junior high school students in our city to participate in the 2007 National Junior High School Mathematics League. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Participants: Some students in Grade Two and Grade Three.

Second, the competition content:

In 2007, the propositional scope of the National Junior High School Mathematics Entrance Examination (the Second Test) is subject to the Outline of Junior High School Mathematics Competition (Revised Trial Edition in 2006) discussed and adopted at the 4th National Mathematics Popularization Conference in August 2006 (see annex).

It mainly examines students' mastery of basic knowledge and skills and their comprehensive ability to use knowledge to solve problems.

Senior three questions: First, according to the requirements of the "senior high school entrance examination", try to test only the basic knowledge, including multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions and two problem-solving, and the answer time is 120 minutes; The second exam includes fill-in-the-blank questions and three solution questions. The first topic is the basic question, and the second topic is the ability test question. The answer time is 150 minutes.

Senior two questions: the first and second questions are similar in form to senior three, but the basic knowledge used does not exceed the current teaching content of senior two.

Third, the competition time:

Try it: March 23, 2007, 2:30-4:30 pm.

Fourth, the organization and implementation of the competition:

The competition is divided into two stages: the preliminary contest and the final contest.

The preliminaries are organized by the participating schools. All students who take the exam will take the exam at all schools from 2: 30 pm to 4: 30 pm on March 23, 2007. The municipal teaching and research section will send inspectors to check the exam. After the preliminary test, each school will organize marking and commenting, and select 65,438+00% winners to participate in the final.

Each county has a sub-examination room in the final, and the examination place will be notified separately. At the final exam, the test paper will be unsealed in front of the students, and the sealed answer sheet will be bound immediately after the exam. The municipal teaching and research section will be returned to Mianyang Mathematical Society on April 6, 2007, and the second examination paper will be reviewed by Mianyang Mathematical Society.

Verb (abbreviation for verb) registration and fee

Registration is voluntary by students. Each school takes the class as the unit, students apply and sign, and report to the school guidance office. The roster is made in duplicate, one for the school guidance office and the other for Comrade Tang in the municipal teaching and research office for future reference. Each student will pay the registration fee of 5 yuan, and each school will keep 0.3 yuan/person as the cost of organizing the preliminary examination. When 4.7 yuan/person registers, it shall be handed over to Mr. Jia from the Municipal Teaching and Research Office and turned over to Mianyang Mathematics Association as the expenses for examination paper, marking, judging and awarding honorary certificates. Deadline for registration: February, 2007 10: Students participating in the finals will pay an additional registration fee for 5 yuan.

VI. Incentives:

1. Students: All award-winning students will be awarded honorary certificates.

2. Teachers: The tutor of the award-winning students will be awarded the corresponding tutor certificate.

3. All entries and results will be notified.
