What should a mathematical modeling team do as a team leader?
According to the experience of our team, the main responsibilities of the leader of the mathematical modeling group are: managing the progress, arranging the division of labor and coordinating among groups.

Generally speaking, the modeling competition group consists of three students, one of whom should have good mathematical knowledge and feeling (classmate A), one student should have strong computing ability (classmate B) and the other student should have slightly good writing ability (classmate C). Classmate A is responsible for the design of mathematical problem-solving ideas, frameworks and mathematical algorithms, and has great decision-making power in the choice of mathematical models. Classmate B is responsible for the computer realization of Classmate A's idea, which requires strong computer application ability. Classmate C is responsible for transforming the works of the previous two classmates into papers and expressing them well. Of course, a group of three students are responsible for understanding the topic together.

The main functions of the team leader are: after the topic comes down, organize the team members to analyze and understand the topic as soon as possible, and finally determine the topic; After determining the topic, it is necessary to define the division of labor, make reasonable arrangements, and pay special attention to the progress, because the progress sometimes directly affects the confidence of team members and the final result. Of course, when three people disagree, the task of the group leader is to coordinate efficiently, reach an agreement among the groups as soon as possible, and do not waste time in carrying out the next work.
