Because in my opinion, sometimes art such as music and dance is really much more practical than those cultural classes. When we go out to communicate with others, what others see is our temperament and self-cultivation, which is difficult for those cultural classes to understand. The direct intuitive feeling you give people is the impression that you stand there as a whole, and these impressions are all to be displayed through art.
Moreover, it is also very important to join music and dance, which can enrich people's physical fitness and improve personal cultivation. For some physical mathematics, we only need to know simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, because some advanced calculation methods are difficult to apply in our lives and are unnecessary. So I don't quite agree that math and physics are more important than music and art.
At the same time, I personally think that music and art are very important reasons, and it is also because people also require all-round development. Music and art can bring you many benefits in life, both temperament and cultivation are very important.
