Dongwu University Tianci Zhuang Campus offers computer science and technology, software engineering, theoretical physics, English education and other majors. The school is a national "2 1 1 Project" key construction university and a key comprehensive university in Jiangsu Province. Its main predecessor is Soochow University, founded in 1900, and it is one of the earliest modern institutions of higher learning in China. As the headquarters, Tianci Zhuang Campus has such departments as Computer Science and Technology College, Physical Science and Technology College, Wang Jian Law School, Foreign Languages College and Mathematics Science College.

Suzhou University has three campuses, namely Tianci Zhuang Campus, Dushu Lake Campus and Yangcheng Lake Campus.

Suzhou University has 12 disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and art.
