Yancheng senior high school entrance examination subjects are Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, physics, chemistry, morality and rule of law, history, and the scores of each subject are as follows.

Chinese, Mathematics, English (including listening and speaking test) each 120, physics 100, chemistry 80, morality and rule of law, history 60, physical education 40.

Six courses, including Chinese, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Morality and Rule of Law, and History, are written in the form of closed books. English test adopts two forms: closed-book written test and automatic listening and speaking test, in which the time of automatic listening and speaking test is subject to the documents of the provincial education department.

Morality, rule of law and history are in the same field. Physical education class adopts the form of on-site skill test. The evaluation of artistic quality consists of two parts: the process evaluation of artistic quality (usual grades) and the evaluation of artistic subject accomplishment (unified examination results).

According to music, fine arts, subject literacy assessment is conducted in the form of computer examination. Candidates are not allowed to carry and use calculators in all subject examinations.
