This lesson is the first lesson of Unit 8 "Possibility" in the first volume of Grade Three. The "probability" learning content arranged by the "Standard" in the first phase of primary school mainly includes: initially understanding that some events are certain and some are uncertain, and conducting simple experiments on all possible results. Unit 9 of the first volume of the second grade arranges the study of certainty and uncertainty, which is the basis of studying this section. Let students know the possibility of an event and describe it in words-this is the knowledge and skill goal of this unit and this lesson.
The possibility of an event is determined by various factors of the event. Similarly, if there are more balls of a certain color, it is more likely to encounter balls of this color. For these reasons, teachers can neither tell students directly, nor pursue them deliberately in activities. Students must be guided to realize them in their own activities. Therefore, the focus of implementing this goal is to gradually let students realize the possibility of the incident through a series of activities.
Analysis of learning situation
Grade three students are in the primary stage of abstract logical thinking, and their abstract thinking needs the support of perceptual materials, so intuitive demonstrations or game clips are easier for them to accept. In our school, more than half of the students are children of rural immigrants. Students' overall cognitive level is poor, and if they are taught in a conventional single preaching form, the results will be little. Therefore, teachers must pay more attention, use their brains and mobilize students to actively participate in classroom activities in order to achieve satisfactory results. According to these characteristics, we set the goal of our class, designed the teaching activities, and participated in the school teaching discussion and exchange activities as planned, which achieved good results.
Teaching objectives
1. Through "guess-practice-verification", we have experienced the process of exploring the possibility of events, and initially felt that the possibility of some events is uncertain, and the possibility of events is large or small.
2. Cultivate the awareness and ability of cooperative learning in activities and exchanges.
3. Cultivate students' awareness of mathematics application, and learn to analyze and observe problems in life from a mathematical perspective.
Teaching emphases and difficulties
At first, the possibility of some events is uncertain, and the possibility of events is large or small.
