Good morning, parents Nice to meet you, and I look forward to communicating with you.
I think our parents attend this meeting for two main purposes. One is to understand the performance of children in school since they entered school, and the other is to understand the learning situation of children. As a math teacher, I will talk to my parents about their children's math study.
In mathematics learning, our children generally have the following characteristics:
Perhaps our material living standard has improved, all kinds of nutrition have kept up, and our students have become more and more intelligent. Our children accept things from the outside world faster and faster. Of course, the advantages and disadvantages are obvious. For example, poor habits, poor literacy, and a certain gap between the quality of homework and classroom homework.
This year is the eighth year of my work, and it is also the fourth time to take the first-grade math exam. It can be said that I have some teaching experience in first-year mathematics. To tell the truth, having good habits is more important than having good grades. Good grades are temporary, and once the study habits are developed, they will be the wealth of a child's life. Especially the first grade is the best time to cultivate children's good habits. We should pay more attention to children's habit formation now. No matter what grade our children are in, there will be less and less places for us to worry about. In other words, what we are worried about now is not to worry about the future.
I think all new parents have a wish, that is, they want their children to succeed and their daughters to succeed. However, relying solely on the efforts of the school is far from enough to realize this wish. Children's education is inseparable from the joint efforts of teachers and parents. Children's growth and success are inseparable from their parents' attention, and the success of school education is inseparable from the cooperation of families.
Please allow me to ask our parents some questions (if it is homework).
First, supervise the children to do their homework.
Parents mainly do the following three tasks: 1. Supervise children to finish their homework on time. It is suggested that every parent set up a small notebook for their children to record their homework, so as to ensure that their children can accurately record their daily homework. 2. Supervise the children to concentrate on their homework. Stop children from doing homework while watching TV or eating. 3. Supervise the children to write their homework carefully. Help children treat homework correctly.
Second, check the children's homework every day.
It is suggested that every parent can spend two minutes checking their children's homework every day. This will not only let children feel your concern for their children as parents, but also help our parents to know their children's learning situation in time.
Third, help children read.
Reading fewer words and not understanding the requirements of the topic is the biggest difficulty for children who have just entered the first grade. Literacy has become the key to solving our problems. So how can we parents help our children read? First of all, our parents should consciously let their children pay more attention to some new words they don't know, then let them read the questions by themselves, and then teach them to read words in units of words when they meet words they don't know. In the long run, the more you read, the more words you will naturally know.
Fourth, sign in in time after the monthly exam.
The school will have regular exams every month, and will let the children take them home for parents to sign. Of course, signing a contract is not the purpose. Signing a contract is mainly for parents to accurately understand their children's learning situation and discover their shortcomings in time, which is more helpful for our home-school cooperation.
In a word, everything we do is for children to have a bright tomorrow. That's all for today. I'll talk to you often in the future. I also hope that you can give me valuable opinions and suggestions.
Thank you!
