When you need to exchange mathematical formulas or formulas in your notes, you can use OneNote to insert fractions, exponents, logarithms and other mathematical structures in your notes. Note: Microsoft OneNote currently does not calculate formulas.
Insert and edit formulas. In your notes, click where you want to insert the formula. On the Insert tab, click Formula.
Type the formula and press the Return key on the keyboard when you are finished.
If you want to edit it later, just click the formula.
Insert a mathematical symbol in the formula, click where you want to insert the symbol in the formula, and then click Edit-Expressions and Symbols on the menu bar.
Enter "Mathematics" in the "Search" dialog box, and click the symbol to be inserted.
If you need to insert a more complex formula or structure (such as sum, integer or matrix), please use the formula function to create a formula in Word and copy it into your notes. ?
