What is energy? Can you answer from a philosophical point of view?
This problem can be compared from the perspective of China's philosophy and western philosophy.

China's philosophy:

According to pre-Qin Confucianism, energy is the result of the movement of the two ends of the universe; Taoism tends to regard energy as the natural state of the universe; In Han dynasty, energy was estimated from the number of yin and yang; During the period of metaphysics in Wei and Jin Dynasties, people began to think that energy was an inherent attribute of human beings, so human consciousness began in Wei and Jin Dynasties. Song and Ming attributed it to reason (natural justice) or this is the original mind (psychology). The traditional views of later generations are also generally within this framework.

Western philosophy:

Aristotle distinguished the four-cause theory, in which the dynamic cause can be regarded as the provision of some kind of energy; Later, the philosophical schools were complicated, and the philosophy of science had more explanations for this; In modern western philosophy, Schopenhauer believes that the essence of energy is a kind of "will". Nietzsche attributed it to the meaning of power. In Husserl's view, pure will seems to have some energy significance, while in Heidegger's view, the energy of phenomenology lies in existence. Analytic philosophy applies the meaning of energy to mathematics and logic, while Rawls' political philosophy judges it as justice.

Marxist philosophy

Marx's view of energy is obvious in his dialectics, and there are traces of energy in both contradictory views and sports-related views. But in the final analysis, energy comes from matter, at least matter. The energy view of historical materialism lies in the historical law of specific significance and the promotion of human beings.

The above is a simple attachment, but it is generally a philosophical reflection of some kind of energy or power theory. If you want to know more, you still need to refer to some related bibliographies. It is suggested to start with the bibliography of philosophy of science, and I believe there will be greater gains.
