How to Cultivate Students' Core Literacy in Mathematics Teaching
At present, our classroom teaching still emphasizes the value of subject knowledge imparting and skill training in many aspects, ignoring the value of students' individual life development, which is still far from the requirements of the new round of curriculum reform. The newly formulated national mathematics curriculum standard fully draws lessons from the successful experience at home and abroad, makes it clear that education must be based on students' development, and points out the direction for the development of subject teaching: "Hands-on practice, independent exploration, cooperation and exchange should be important ways for students to learn in the future." Project implementation plan I. Project name Research on the cultivation of primary school students' mathematical literacy II. The proposal of the project (I) The background of the proposal of the project The word "mathematical literacy" first appeared in the "Syllabus of Nine-year Compulsory Education Full-time Junior High School (Trial)" formulated by the State Education Commission, and once became one of the hot topics of mathematics teachers in China. Generally speaking, mathematical literacy refers to the knowledge, skills, abilities, concepts and qualities that people acquire through mathematical education and their own practice and cognitive activities. Its formation is gradually accumulated by students in the process of mathematics learning. It is a long-term, repeated and gradual self-generation process, and it is also a self-experience process of constant reflection and disproof. Once formed, it will definitely surpass the knowledge of mathematics and play a long-term and practical role. Improving students' mathematics literacy is to improve students' basic knowledge and skills of mathematics necessary for adapting to society, participating in production and further study, which is not only the need of the times, but also the need for students to realize sustainable development and ultimately realize their own value. Therefore, as a basic education, primary school mathematics teaching should take improving students' mathematics literacy as the ultimate goal of teaching. Classroom teaching is the main channel to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability. Only by deepening the classroom can we bear the expectation of the new curriculum and truly embody the new curriculum in school life and implement it in education and teaching. However, due to the influence of outdated teaching concepts and long-term exam-oriented education, classroom teaching is still dominated by textbooks, and the teaching content is out of touch with students' real life, and school education is seriously out of touch with social life. The single classroom teaching method, students' passive learning and rote memorization lead to students' lack of interest in learning, students' learning potential is difficult to play, and classroom teaching has lost its vitality; Teachers pay too much attention to the teaching of students' basic knowledge and skills, but ignore the cultivation of students' basic attitude and ability; Students only pay attention to the acquisition of book knowledge, but relatively ignore the application of mathematical knowledge, so that they can only calculate and not use it. Let the cultivation of students' mathematical literacy become an empty talk. Therefore, we must explore new teaching methods, reform teaching mode, improve teaching quality and benefit, and make classroom teaching a hotbed for cultivating students' mathematical literacy. Therefore, according to the current educational situation and local reality, our district has put forward the subject of "Research on Cultivating Primary School Students' Basic Mathematics Literacy". (II) Purpose and Value of Research "Mathematics Curriculum Standard" puts forward that "everyone can learn valuable mathematics, everyone can get the necessary mathematics, and different people can get different development in mathematics". However, around us, more teachers pay attention to students' understanding and mastery of knowledge, and pay attention to the improvement of students' problem-solving ability, while ignoring the cultivation of students' comprehensive mathematics literacy. Mathematical literacy refers to the relatively stable psychological literacy, including knowledge, ability, skills, concepts, attitudes, behavior habits and values, which is formed under the influence of environment and education. Therefore, members of our research group study the cultivation of primary school students' mathematical literacy to promote the development of schools, teachers and students. Its main objectives are as follows: 1. Improve teachers' teaching ideas and pay attention to the cultivation of students' mathematical literacy. The goal of paying attention to students' problem-solving ability is further sublimated to cultivate students' comprehensive mathematical literacy. Therefore, teachers realize that cultivating mathematics literacy is more important than cultivating grades, and naturally they will face all students, so that all students' mathematics ability can be improved by leaps and bounds. Through this study, teachers can understand and understand the cultivation of primary school students' mathematical literacy, and explore and form the cultivation strategies of primary school students' mathematical literacy. 2. Improve teachers' teaching methods and attach importance to students' feelings and experiences. The Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform points out, "It is necessary to change the tendency of curriculum to pay too much attention to knowledge transmission, so that the process of acquiring basic knowledge and skills can be a process of learning to learn and forming correct values at the same time. "Mathematics process is a process of experience and comprehension, which requires teachers to fully respect the individual differences of students, fully demonstrate the process of knowledge generation and development by analyzing the internal relations and changing laws of knowledge, and form an open and independent mathematics teaching method. Through research, the independence, profundity and creativity of students' thinking are stimulated. 3. Change students' learning style and cultivate students' good habits. The cultivation of primary school students' mathematical literacy is a systematic work, and there must be a gradual process. In this process, teachers should pay attention to the changes of students' learning styles, so as to promote the reform of students' learning styles. Cultivate students' ability to listen attentively, think independently and finish their homework conscientiously and independently, so that students can develop good study habits. Through this research, students can further improve their autonomous learning, research learning and cooperative learning. 4. Improve the evaluation system of mathematics education and improve students' practical ability. The traditional view of mathematics teaching evaluation is "teacher evaluation as the center and result evaluation as the center", which affects teachers' teaching methods, restricts the improvement of students' innovative consciousness and practical ability, and is not conducive to students' all-round development. The new curriculum points out that the function of evaluation is to promote students' development and teachers' improvement and improvement of teaching practice. Therefore, it is a challenging and comprehensive work to establish a scientific and reasonable mathematical evaluation system to adapt to the characteristics of students' physical and mental development. Through this study, the evaluation method of students' mathematical literacy is further improved, and a scientific and reasonable evaluation system of primary school mathematics learning is formed. This study will be based on primary school mathematics teaching practice, aiming at the physical and mental characteristics and educational environment of primary school students in our district, and guided by the new curriculum theory, organize all mathematics teachers to explore and supplement practical research in teaching, and summarize the basic methods and principles of cultivating primary school students' mathematics literacy. I hope this study can further improve the overall scientific research level of primary school mathematics teachers in our region, improve the quality of school mathematics education and teaching, cultivate students' good mathematics learning habits, and enhance students' awareness of mathematics innovation and practical ability. Project leaders and researchers actively participate in multi-channel and multi-form teaching and research training, and strive to improve educational and scientific research ability and professional theoretical level. Such as taking part in the subject knowledge training organized by provincial and municipal business departments, reading professional theoretical books, online learning, etc. Considering the long-term development of education in the new district, the Education and Sports Office has formulated project research to promote the development of education in the whole district and ensure the financial support of project research from the system. The District Management Committee and the financial department will strongly support the project research funds. Three. Guiding ideology The research of this topic will strictly implement the principles and policies of the party and the government, pay close attention to the trends of educational research at home and abroad, strengthen the research of monographs and core journals, and step up the transformation of modern educational concepts into specific teaching behaviors. Pay attention to the training process of primary school students' mathematical literacy and create the best environment for the all-round development of students' quality. 4. The overall goal of the project is to enable students to acquire important mathematical knowledge (including mathematical facts and experience in mathematical activities), basic mathematical thinking methods and necessary application skills necessary to adapt to future social life and further development, learn to use mathematics consciousness, understand the value of mathematics, and enhance their understanding of mathematics and confidence in learning mathematics well. The research of this topic takes the four dimensions of the new curriculum standard (knowledge and skills, mathematical thinking, problem solving, emotion and attitude) as the overall goal, and the learning period as the specific goal, so as to cultivate students' mathematical literacy, promote students to master mathematical knowledge, form mathematical skills, generate mathematical consciousness and produce mathematical emotions.
