The full name of GCE "O-level" is the ordinal rank of Cambridge General Education Certificate. Singapore-Cambridge O-Level is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Singapore and the University of Cambridge Examinations Authority, and awarded diplomas. Examination results are recognized by Commonwealth countries. After completing four or five years of secondary education, Singaporean middle school students take the Cambridge O-Level exam, which is as difficult as the junior high school entrance exam in China. The entrance examination for international students is a unified entrance examination organized by the Ministry of Education of Singapore for international students who intend to apply for primary and secondary schools in Singapore.
