I. Ask questions
In the eyes of most people, mathematics is a difficult subject. Especially after the new curriculum reform, mathematics has added a lot of content. A considerable number of students complain to their teachers that there are too many contents and knowledge points in math textbooks, which they always can't remember and forget after learning. Some also say that the content in the textbook is too simple to understand, but they can't do the questions during the exam, and the questions can't be linked with the knowledge points they have learned. The teacher also said that I don't know why students can't even do simple questions, and teaching is quite passive. In order to better guide teachers and students to learn mathematics, we designed a questionnaire about mathematics learning interest, learning habits, learning attitude, learning confidence and new curriculum reform.
Two. investigation and research
(1) Respondents According to different possible situations, we conducted a sample survey on some students in Grade 6.
(2) Survey results and analysis
(1) Interest and Attitude towards Mathematics From the survey data, we can see that 42.80% of the students have a strong interest in mathematics, and they all think that mathematics is an interesting and challenging subject. This is an invisible encouragement to math teachers. Everyone knows that interest is the best teacher. This proves that mathematics has its own characteristics of attracting students compared with other disciplines. As long as the content of the textbook is properly guided and handled, many students are still willing to learn and learn well. However, it is undeniable that due to the strong theoretical and logical nature of mathematics, the teaching materials are relatively boring and difficult to use in real life, which also causes a considerable number of students to hate learning mathematics. However, with the new curriculum reform, more and more examples in mathematics textbooks are used in real life, which is correct. Students' interest in mathematics mainly depends on their own mathematical foundation. Whether they can cultivate their interest is of great significance to the success of teaching. There are many factors that affect students' interest in learning mathematics: students' own factors, teachers' factors and textbooks' own factors. In the survey, among the students who are interested in mathematics, 17.74% think it is interesting, 23.9 1% think that "mathematics is closely related to life, and there are many places to use it in the future", and 1 1.57% think it is "interesting" It can be reflected in the questionnaire that whether students are interested in mathematics depends on whether they can feel that mathematics is useful and whether they can exercise logical thinking. For students who are not interested in mathematics, 38.00% think it is too difficult, 30.75% think it is because they didn't learn it well before, 9.75% think it is too far from their ideal direction, only 8.00% think it is of little use, 13.50% think it is because of "teachers". Therefore, how to reverse students' views on mathematics, or even change this situation, will be a teaching problem that teachers must take seriously. This requires teachers to prepare lessons adequately, the language of class should be concise and easy to understand, and the important and difficult points of teaching materials should be thoroughly explained and grasped in place; Strengthen students' basic training and let them master basic knowledge.
(2) Students' induction of mathematical knowledge. As can be seen from the survey data, most students have a positive attitude towards the summary in the book, which means that the summary of each chapter will be helpful to students, but how to treat this summary and how to treat the summary of each chapter or each knowledge point? As can be seen from the first set of data, 32.58% of the students think that the summary in the book is OK. 44. 19% students feel that the summary is not enough, 10.49% students find it difficult to turn these summaries into their own knowledge, and 12.73% students just don't feel anything. As can be seen from the second set of data, only 165438 can truly sum up their own knowledge and transform it into their own knowledge. This also means that our teachers should help students to sum up relevant knowledge and form a systematic knowledge structure after learning each chapter or every knowledge point, so as to facilitate students to understand and master knowledge.
(3) Students' math study habits. As can be seen from the survey data, at present, the vast majority of students are not so regular in the time arrangement of mathematics learning, and there are almost no students who arrange time to review every day. There seems to be a feeling of "impromptu" learning, which also reflects the heavy learning burden of middle school students from another aspect. They have to study not only mathematics, but also many subjects. So how should we solve this problem? First of all, it is necessary to reduce the burden on students and implement real quality-oriented teaching. Second, we should break through from students, because time is squeezed out by ourselves, so we need our teachers to teach students how to solve problems, so as to improve the speed of students' problem solving.
3. The summary questionnaire mainly reflects the following questions:
(1) A considerable number of students like mathematics and find it an interesting subject, but find it difficult to learn.
(2) A considerable number of students do not attach importance to textbook knowledge, and do little or even no exercises after class.
(3) There is no good habit of learning mathematics, and preview before class, listen carefully in class and review after class are basically not done.
(4) Due to various reasons, the quality of students attending classes is not high.
(5) The enthusiasm for learning mathematics is not high enough and the efficiency is not high.
(6) I didn't form a systematic study habit, and I wasn't good at summing up, so I summed up a set of my own methods of learning mathematics.
(7) The knowledge of the new curriculum standard textbook is jumping, the exercises are difficult, and there are many contents, which are difficult for students to digest and absorb.
Four. suggestion
In view of the present situation of mathematics learning, in order to further improve students' academic performance, teachers must help students improve their learning process.
(1) Teachers should guide students to preview, so that students can form the habit of previewing before each new lesson, so as to understand the content of the next lesson and improve the efficiency of listening to lectures.
(2) Teachers should guide students to adopt scientific learning methods to improve learning efficiency. It is necessary to cultivate students' study habit of reading before finishing homework after class, truly understand what the teacher said in the last class, and then use the learned knowledge to complete homework to consolidate it, so that every student can consciously adopt scientific methods to study.
(3) Teachers should adopt appropriate methods to improve students' learning enthusiasm and initiative, so that students can know the homework corrected by teachers in time and correct the wrong questions seriously and timely. At the same time, it is necessary to cultivate students' rigorous learning attitude and put an end to the review method of "treating the symptoms rather than curing the root cause". Problems in study should be seriously considered and never let go easily.
(4) Teachers should guide students to develop the study habit of systematic review. Only in this way can we be fearless and responsive in all kinds of tests. Rote memorizing exams can't really improve academic performance.
(5) Teachers should guide students to establish correct learning motivation, change some students' ideas ideologically, help them cultivate good learning motivation, and make them actively carry out active learning.
(6) Teachers should explore the new curriculum teaching mode and actively and steadily promote the new curriculum reform.
See if you want to change the data inside.
