The beauty contest is an international academic competition sponsored by the American Federation of Mathematics and Its Applications, and it is also one of the most influential mathematical modeling competitions in the world. For domestic teams, the following conditions must be met: they must be college students or graduate students from Chinese mainland, and each team consists of three people, one of whom must be a non-mathematics major student in other disciplines. In addition, Southeast University has certain restrictions on the number of participating teams, and plans to select 70-80 teams to participate.
As for the registration fee, each team needs to pay a registration fee of 100 USD. For teams from poor areas or students with special circumstances, Southeast University will bear the registration fee for some teams.
