As far as difficulty is concerned, mathematics education in China is not the most difficult. We think that mathematics in China is very difficult, because it is unified, and students at all levels have to learn the same content. In foreign countries, there is more hierarchical teaching, and students who are interested in mathematics can challenge a higher level. For example, in the United States, eighth-grade middle school students can start studying calculus, which is the content of our university. Because it is unrealistic and incomparable to simply compare the differences in mathematical difficulty.
In addition, we think that another reason why foreign mathematics is simple is that their educational ideas are inconsistent. In the western educational concept, it takes a long time to acquire knowledge, which gives children more time and opportunities to understand, while our teaching makes children acquire knowledge in a short time, but lacks the time to understand, which makes children rely more on memory skills than existing logical thinking ability to solve problems.
