Bi Sheng (also known as Bi Sheng, about 970- 105 1 year), an inventor in the Northern Song Dynasty in China, invented movable type printing. The invention of cement movable type printing is considered as the earliest movable type printing technology in the world. In Song Dynasty, Shen Kuo recorded Bi Sheng's movable type printing in Meng Qian Bi Tan.
Li Shizhen (1518-1593) was a great physician and pharmacologist in China in ancient Ming dynasty. Its main contribution is Compendium of Materia Medica.
