It is said that the first prize in the national competition can be guaranteed for research? I didn't see anyone in our dormitory who kept the postgraduate courses, but at that time, our school made a specific commitment that as long as you participated in this competition, no matter what ranking you got, you could get extra points in the points that our school decided on the scholarship level, so for China college students, at least this temptation existed, no matter how much or how little.
Secondly, this competition is also one of the competitions sponsored by the Ministry of Education. It can be said that if you really win the prize, it will be competitive for future development, including future employment, so it will be very attractive to everyone.
The second point is to be relatively simple. When I was a freshman, not long after learning advanced mathematics, a teacher told us that we could take part in a modeling competition. You can imagine how much competition freshmen can have in hard power, so this modeling contest only needs a little advanced mathematics foundation, a little drawing programming ability and a little paper writing foundation. It is really simple.
Finally, we all want to accumulate our own experience, including the experience of going out to compete, the experience of writing papers when we first entered the university, and the experience of teamwork. I think these are quite interesting passages in our own life experiences.
