Good afternoon. First of all, thank you for your trust and encouragement. I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about my work last semester. Last semester, I served as the head teacher of Class 17 in Senior High School, and took on the teaching of three physics classes. In addition, the summer vacation and weekends are used to undertake the work of school innovation associations and organize students to participate in various national, provincial and municipal innovation competitions. Looking back on this semester's work, it is both hard and fulfilling, and some achievements have been made. Let's share it with you in detail.
First, the work of the class teacher
First of all, my ideological understanding of the work of the head teacher is as follows: ① As a young teacher, if he is not competent for the work of the head teacher, the work of the teacher is incomplete; After several cycles of teaching, I am basically qualified for high school teaching, hoping to have the opportunity to challenge myself and further improve my class management ability; The most important thing is to feel old and have a sense of crisis. I want to do more while I am young and energetic and try to make some achievements. Therefore, this semester, I actively asked to work as a class teacher, and strive for the space to give full play to my ability.
This semester, I mainly focus on the following aspects: ① Learn from teachers around me, learn their achievements and experiences in education, teaching and class management, strengthen communication with teachers, and deal with problems in time when they are found. Do a good job in the coordination between students and teachers, play a role as a link, and try our best to help teachers solve some difficulties such as class adjustment and substitute classes at night. (2) Pay attention to cultivating students' sense of collective honor. Students will have a strong sense of collective honor if they have a collective concept. Encourage students to actively participate in various activities carried out by the school, put forward specific tasks, goals and requirements for them, and educate them to try their best to get the best results. The class achieved good results in running exercises, school sports meetings and other activities, and the first school sports meeting in senior high school won the second place; ③ Fully understand the students, integrate them, and work with them to solve practical problems, for example, the problem of contract area. In view of the fact that some students throw garbage at the window, which is difficult to clean up, I propose to the students: on the basis of doing their own hygiene work first, send out an initiative to care for the campus environment to all teachers and students, and the students are very enthusiastic. Some took photos from home to collect evidence, and some found that students and classes littered from clues on waste paper. Through some measures in the class, we will take responsibility. It is precisely because teachers and students work together in class management and take effective measures that this class ranks among the best in the daily management evaluation of classes this semester and is rated as a civilized class in 2008-09.
Second, the teaching work
In view of the heavy teaching workload of the three classes, it is difficult to correct homework, especially after-school tutoring. I have always been afraid of difficulties. Considering the practical difficulties of the first year of high school, I take the overall situation into consideration, first of all, correct the teaching attitude, in a responsible attitude towards students and parents, try my best to squeeze time and improve work efficiency. I am often busy correcting my homework after checking my morning reading, and then I am busy attending classes. Although I worked hard, by the end of the semester, the physics subjects in my class were among the best in the ordinary class, which was quite gratifying.
Third, while doing a good job, actively participate in the creation of innovative associations in schools.
Last summer vacation, we organized 15 students to participate in the second National Youth Creative Competition organized by China Education Society and China Intellectual Property Office for the first time. It is the largest innovation competition in China at present, and we have made gratifying achievements. 15 students participated in the preliminary competition, 14 students won the first prize in the country, and one student's total score entered the top ten in the country. Won one gold, three silver, one bronze and the team gold medal in the final. Such achievements can not be achieved without the great attention of school leaders, who provided us with a good platform for practice, especially the direct leadership of Director Xu, and created good conditions for the smooth development of the activities. Secondly, it is also the result of our teamwork and Qi Xin's concerted efforts, such as Liu Kai's teaching of trademark design, and Cai Chun and Geng Xinghui's full participation in the competition. I am personally interested in this activity. On the one hand, this activity is consistent with the background that China is vigorously promoting independent innovation, creating an innovative country and an innovative society. On the other hand, in the process of guiding students, we can experience the fun of studying together. As a physics teacher, I also need to improve my practical level through such activities, so I pay more and try to squeeze out time under the heavy teaching tasks. During the school sports meeting, while caring about the competition, we should also guide students in the laboratory. In the whole process, we used to help students recite the main points of trademark law and intellectual property law on the train; I used to run around the mall all morning to prepare materials for improving the model, but I couldn't catch lunch at noon, and I had to help my classmates improve the model to participate in the afternoon competition. I used to study until midnight for the next day's game. On the eve of the final exam, my students and I groped in the laboratory until eleven o'clock, and the child was ill and hospitalized. In the end, everyone's efforts brought satisfactory results. The biggest feeling of participating in this activity is that you can put good ideas into practice immediately.
