In order to fully understand students' mastery of knowledge and improve the quality of mathematics teaching, we conducted the sixth grade mathematics mid-term exam. From the feedback of each class, the overall quality of mathematics teaching in the whole grade is good, and most students have a solid grasp of basic knowledge and can use mathematics flexibly.
While seeing the results, we should also pay more attention to the various problems reflected in the test paper. To this end, we randomly selected a class's test paper as a sample, collected relevant statistical data, and found that there are many problems worthy of our in-depth analysis and reflection.
First, the statistical analysis of the examination situation
1. Analysis of test paper types and scores;
The first big question: the average score of the fill-in-the-blank question (20 points) is 19, and the most mistakes are 1 and item 9.
The second big problem: the average score of true and false (5 points) is 4.5, and the fifth item is the most wrong.
The third big question: the average score of multiple-choice questions (5 points) is 4. 1 point, and the fourth small question has the most mistakes.
The fourth major problem: the average score of the calculation problem (40 points) is 38.5 points, and the fifth minor problem with the most mistakes.
The fifth question: the average score of the application question (30 points) is 27. 1, and the fifth question loses the most points, followed by the seventh.
2. Test paper quality analysis:
The overall difficulty of the test paper is easy and the discrimination is not high; The basic questions (basic calculation, basic concept questions) have a high score rate.

1. Generally speaking, students have a good grasp of the basic knowledge of primary school mathematics. In the first, second and third questions of basic knowledge, except for the two major questions, the excellent rate of the first and third questions is above 60%, and the qualified rate is above 90%.
This shows that in teaching, teachers attach importance to the teaching of basic mathematics knowledge, and students have mastered the basic knowledge of primary school mathematics, such as concepts, properties, laws, rules, formulas, problem-solving methods and so on. This is in line with the requirements of "Curriculum Standard" and has achieved the teaching goal of basic mathematics knowledge in primary schools.
2. The test results are satisfactory. The excellent rate of scoring reached 68.9%, and the qualified rate reached 9 1.7%, which was relatively high in all the examination questions.
This is inseparable from the teacher's solid computing teaching. In teaching, teachers take strengthening the cultivation of students' computing ability as the top priority of teaching, cultivate students' basic computing ability based on oral calculation (practicing oral calculation in class), and focus on written calculation to effectively improve students' mathematical computing ability.
As can be seen from the test paper, the correct rate of oral calculation questions is high, and students not only master the order and calculation method of the four operations, but also calculate reasonably, flexibly and simply. This fully shows that strengthening the calculation teaching in primary school mathematics is an important way to improve the quality of primary school mathematics teaching.
3. Students' ability to solve practical problems by using basic knowledge of mathematics has been greatly improved. The excellent rate of application questions is close to 55%, and the qualified rate reaches 72.9%, of which 42 questions get full marks.
