A Brief Introduction to the Author of Pure Mathematics Course
G.H. Hardy (1877—l947), the leader of British mathematics and British analytical school, is a world-renowned master of mathematics, and has made great contributions and far-reaching influence in number theory and analysis. He trained and instructed many mathematicians, including Indian mathematical wizard Ramanukin and China mathematician Hua. He is also the author of Introduction to Number Theory, Inequality and Confessions of a Mathematician. The Chinese versions of the first two works have been published by People's Posts and Telecommunications Publishing House.
