Anqing Normal University, referred to as Anqing Normal College, is located in Anqing City, Anhui Province, a national historical and cultural city. It is a full-time ordinary college directly under the Anhui Provincial People's Government.

Anqing Normal University is an excellent institution for evaluating the undergraduate teaching level of institutions of higher learning of the Ministry of Education, and the first batch of institutions in China with the right to award bachelor's degrees. 1928, the provincial Anhui University was founded here.
