I have been teaching math to the children in our class for four years. In order not to let the children lose interest in my math class, and then lose interest in the subject of mathematics, at the beginning of the semester, I wanted to improve my ability in this area and let the children feel the fun and interest of mathematics. When searching for information on the Internet, I found the book Drawing Mathematics.

This is a very creative math book. From this book, I know that mathematics is dynamic rather than static. In the process of mathematics learning, we should not only observe children's learning results, but also pay attention to children's learning process. Based on the above two aspects, I did some practice in math class.

First, the calculation of exercises.

From the initial self-directed and self-performed, to me on the podium, I talked and calculated. Up to now, when I am in class, I have asked each student to prepare an exercise book. Speaking of calculation questions, let the students do it themselves, and then choose a classmate to make a demonstration on the blackboard. In order to ensure students' participation, I also asked students to date their exercise books. At the end of each class, I will check a few students and have a look. Will it be calculated? Near the end of the semester, I also actively mobilized parents and friends in the class group to accompany the children to calculate five questions every day and sent them to the group to punch in, so that the students could correct each other and improve together. In this way, I found that the children's computing ability has been greatly improved, and at the same time, some physical labor in the classroom has been liberated.

Second, the arrangement of homework.

In the arrangement of homework, I have also changed from letting children do some exercises mechanically to letting them create their own homework now. How to create? Based on the mathematics knowledge learned this week, let the children create and edit according to the forms of mathematics picture books, mathematics tabloids and mathematics cartoons. When children are writing and editing, they not only consolidate what they have learned this week, but also cultivate their creative ability and thinking ability. When creating and editing, I also encourage students to create and edit in the form of group cooperation or good friends cooperation, which also exercises their cooperative ability.

In fact, I know that what I have done is far from enough, but I hope that through my own efforts, I can guide my children to really meet mathematics, discover mathematics, fall in love with mathematics, and let them find the color and light that belongs to their childhood!
