Learning is a child's business, and the help of teachers and parents is only an external force. Only when children want to learn and are interested in mathematics can they improve their grades through hard work. Therefore, only by making them clear about their learning goals can they have the motivation to learn, and this internal motivation constantly promotes the progress of children. The average score of our class is backward in the whole grade, which is "scum class" in the words of children. Through getting along with the third grade and the first grade, I understand that children's psychology is formed because the grades of the first grade and the second grade are always behind. In the long run, they lose interest in mathematics and their grades keep declining. But these children don't want our class to be a "scum class" forever. Deep down, they still hope to be a "bully class" and be the first in grade. Grasp the child's psychology and help the child determine the semester goal. With the learning goal, children's initiative in learning has come up, from the original "want me to learn" to "I want to learn".
Second, the classroom is the key.
As the saying goes, "One minute on stage, ten years off stage". In order to ensure the quality of classroom teaching, teaching preparation before class is essential. For me, I don't have rich teaching experience. This is the second time that I have come into contact with the textbooks for the fourth grade since I taught, which is a rearrangement of the new Soviet education. In order to grasp the teaching difficulties, easy test sites and confusing points of each unit, I will carefully make two sets of unit papers before each unit teaching and compare the similarities and differences between the two sets of papers. Add these difficult points, easy test sites and confusing points into teaching, and design homework accordingly.
Third, after-school counseling is the top priority.
Homework should be corrected in time, and daily homework should be corrected as much as possible on the same day, to check for leaks and fill gaps. This job is easy to say, but it is a huge job. The children in the class have different foundations and uneven levels. Some problems need group counseling, and some problems only need individual counseling. Make a detailed record of the exercises with high error rate of children, and provide review resources for the final review.
It is not enough to rely on the teacher's personal strength for after-school counseling. Therefore, I train "little teachers" in my class and adopt the mode of "teaching soldiers by soldiers", so that "little teachers" can help me with individual counseling. For example, when teaching "two or three numbers divided by two numbers" in the fourth grade, individual children can never correctly determine the position of quotient. They should be in ten places, but the business is in hundreds. To solve this problem, "little teachers" can help those children who have difficulties by themselves, and sometimes the counseling between children is even better than that of teachers.
