The School of Information Management consists of four departments: Economic Information Management Department, Computer Application Department, Mathematics and Decision Science Department, and Mathematics and Management Engineering Department, with information center, hospital office, e-commerce research institute, computer application research institute, financial mathematics and insurance actuarial research institute, information technology training center of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (CIT) located in Cambridge, England, Jiangxi Branch of National Computer Continuing Education Research Association, and national computer application technology certificate examination (NIT) training base. National Computer Rank Examination Base, Jiangxi Agency for International Project Management (IPMP) Certification, Jiangxi Tongtong Information System Engineering Co., Ltd. and other institutions. The Institute of Information Management has 97 faculty members, including 87 teachers. Among the teachers, there are 5 tutors/kloc-0 for master students, 8 professors/kloc-0, and 24 associate professors.

School of Information Management has four undergraduate majors: information management and information system, computer science and technology, information and computing science and management science, as well as three master's programs and one doctoral program (first-class discipline) in management science and engineering, quantitative economy and computer application technology. Full-time undergraduate students 1434, 50 graduate students and 4 doctoral students. Among them, management science and engineering, computer application technology and quantitative economics are key disciplines in Jiangxi Province, information management and information system are brand majors in Jiangxi Province, and courses such as computer application foundation, financial management information system and its application, and operational research are excellent courses in Jiangxi Province.

In the past five years, the college has presided over the completion of 3 national social science fund projects and 8 provincial and ministerial projects1; Won the third prize of national scientific and technological progress, provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress awards and outstanding social science achievement awards more than 20; Published 3 1 paper in authoritative journals (including 2 1 paper in SCI, EI and ISTP) and more than 500 papers in core journals; Published monograph 2 1 book. At present, there are 5 national projects and 26 provincial projects under research.

Since 1997, our institute has teamed up to participate in the national mathematical modeling competition, and won three national first prizes and three second prizes, and won the first place in Jiangxi Province for many times.

In recent years, the School of Information Management has carried out academic exchange activities with many universities in the United States, Austria, Australia, Canada, Germany, Britain, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. Eight teachers went to Germany, Austria, Australia, Canada and the United States to study, visit, give lectures and inspect.
