Digital coding of digital data refers to converting binary 0/ 1 digital data into a square wave waveform (digital signal) with certain polarity, amplitude, bit rate and jumping rules.
Decimal data system is the most familiar digital system, but it is very difficult or even unrealistic to use decimal data system in data conversion and computer processing. Ten different circuit states are needed to represent ten digital symbols respectively. But there are many ways to make the circuit show two different states, so the binary data system has been widely used.
The significance and function of digital coding;
1, which is convenient for filing, especially in the electronic management system.
2. Digital coding is easier to manage. No matter who codes it, it's the same. Easy to manage. No matter how people change, procedures and transactions will not be chaotic.
3. Detailed corresponding information can be obtained from the numbers, such as year, month, day, even hour, minute, second, unit, department, archivist and so on.
4, familiar with digital coding can quickly locate files.
5, digital coding can prevent leaks, people who don't know the coding system are difficult to understand the meaning of coding, and they can't find the information they need in the vast sea of people like a maze.
