Science elective courses 2- 1, 2-2, 2-3, elective courses 4- 1, 4-2, 4-4, 4-5. Generally, each school chooses four books. Mathematics should be divided into elective and compulsory parts, from compulsory one to five, both arts and sciences should be studied. (liberal arts elective 1- 1, 1-2)
The learning progress of each high school is different, so the high school mathematics textbooks may be different. Compulsory 1 is the foundation, and the whole book focuses on mastery; Compulsory 2 focuses on: solid geometry and plane analytic geometry; Compulsory 3 focuses on: algorithm preliminary, statistics, probability; Compulsory 4 focuses on: trigonometric function, plane vector and trigonometric identity transformation; Compulsory 5 focuses on solving triangles, sequences and inequalities.
Elective course 2- 1 focus on: common logical terms, conic curves and equations, space vectors and solid geometry; Elective course 2-2 focuses on mastery; Electives 2-3 focus on: counting principle, statistics and probability.
Order Adjustment of Mathematics Textbooks for the New College Entrance Examination
Senior One: The content of Senior One has not changed much. Set and simple logic are combined to learn, and inequality learning is advanced to Senior One. Set simple logic, quadratic function of one variable and equation inequality as preparatory knowledge for college entrance examination, which better realizes the smooth transition from junior high school to senior high school.
Advanced: the learning order is reversed from that of solid geometry in Grade Two, and the plural number is placed in advanced.
The adjustment of mathematics order in senior one is mainly because students of solid geometry are prone to fail, so they put the series in senior two. The neutralization of difficulty can give students a chance to buffer their breath and enhance their self-confidence in learning to some extent.
