FLTRP is the abbreviation of Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, founded by Beijing Foreign Studies University, 1997. It is the largest foreign language publishing agency and the largest university press in China.

The "2 1 Century Cup" national English speech contest was initiated and hosted by China Daily 1996 and hosted by English "2 1 Century".
