Then it is found that there are serious logical errors in the derivation of divergence formula in many textbooks and reference books, and so on. In order to talk about calculus easily, Liu first read almost all the books about calculus in the library. During the summer vacation of his freshman year, he got up at 5 am and went to bed at night 12. After 40 days behind closed doors, he finally finished his first academic monograph, From Secant to Infinitesimal-Revealing Calculus.
Under the guidance of the editing concept of gradual logic, this book has made a comprehensive innovation in the structure of today's teaching materials. Put forward "the idea of logical gradual editing". In this book, Liu also reveals the essence of calculus; The third kind of curve integral is put forward independently, which unifies Gauss theorem and Stokes formula. Based on the essence of calculus, the divergence formula is derived. At the beginning of September 2008, Hunan Science and Technology Publishing House took a fancy to this book and immediately bought the copyright of this book, which was officially published in July this year. In the past year, the workload of proofreading is really great. Every number, every formula, every word and even every punctuation mark needs careful proofreading many times, but Liu persisted. Some people may think that Liu's book was published through trust or at his own expense, but in fact Liu contacted the publishing house entirely by himself. Because the book he wrote was original, the editor of the publishing house realized the value of the book almost at the first time. The book won the first prize of outstanding scientific research achievements of college students in Hubei Province in 2009.
In the summer of 2009, Liu completed two monographs, among which Calculus, a Story of Good Mathematics, was the first draft of Hunan Science and Technology Publishing House, and the third monograph Fourier Transform Analysis Based on Analytical Methods was published by Huazhong University of Science and Technology Press in February 2009.
The above two books also have many original research results of the authors. For example, in the book "The Story of Good Mathematics-Calculus", Liu analyzed the development history of calculus in detail, divided it into five stages, and obtained the laws of many disciplines. In the book Fourier Transform Analysis Based on Analysis, Liu proposed a branch analysis of discipline philosophy and drew many innovative conclusions.
Liu passed CET-4, CET-4 (Software Testing Engineer) and Computer and Software Qualification Examination (Software Designer) at one time. He spent the weekend studying for a double degree in finance at Wuhan University. Liu has a solid computer programming ability, independently developed a variety of application software, and served as the leader of the student team "Dian Wei Studio" led by two teachers from the School of Computer Science.
Liu Ye has participated in many student work and has more than two years' experience as a student reporter and editor. From September 2007 to September 2009, he served as a reporter and news editor of the news commentary department of the school radio station. Since March 2008, he has served as a reporter, editor and deputy director of the hospital news center. According to incomplete statistics, during his two years in college, he published no less than 40 news and comments, and also published many essays in the school newspaper. Liu is now the editor of China University Students' Online "Entering the World Network" and joined the team of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Liu was born in May 1990. His family lives in rural Henan, and he likes mathematics since childhood. When he was studying calculus in college, he found that the paper full of formulas and examples was not only boring to learn, but also had logical errors in formula derivation. This gave him the idea of writing a book.
Last July, Liu spent 40 days writing his first monograph, 2 10000 words, calculus from circumcision to infinitesimal. 5000 copies were printed for the first time, but they were sold out in less than half a year and printed for the second time.
The story of good mathematical calculus is the companion of Liu's first monograph. Liu said that compared with the former, this book is a popular science book.
His other monograph, Fourier Transform Analysis Based on HWW Analysis, was published by Huazhong University of Science and Technology Press at the end of last year.
Liu's medical popular science reading "Random Talk on Medical History" is the harvest of his joining the medical research group of Yunnan team in the school. At present, this book has entered the proofreading stage and will be published soon.
I wrote three monographs in two years, which did not affect Liu's research. He said: "after school, some people choose to be tutors, others choose to participate in competitions, and I choose to write books."
With the remuneration for writing a book, Liu solved the tuition and living expenses for his junior and senior years. Several monographs also made him popular during his research. The tutor read his book and thought he was "suitable for scientific research".
Liu admitted that he was depressed when writing a book, and he once had the idea of giving up. To this end, he put Einstein's famous saying "As long as you have something reasonable to do, your life will be particularly beautiful" on the computer screen as a motto to motivate yourself not to give up.
It is understood that Liu also took the piano and minored in finance at Wuhan University.
