Beijing's new college entrance examination plan was officially released. Since 2020, the Beijing College Entrance Examination has implemented the "3+3" system, regardless of subjects. In addition to the three compulsory subjects of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages, students can choose three subjects from six subjects: ideological politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology. However, in the two-day college entrance examination, only three compulsory subjects, namely, Chinese, Mathematics and Foreign Language, were tested, and three elective subjects were conducted according to the Graded Examination of Ordinary High School Academic Level, and the test scores were included in the college entrance examination results. Candidates independently choose three college entrance examination subjects. According to the "Beijing Implementation Plan for Deepening the Reform of Examination Enrollment System (Draft for Comment)", the subjects of college entrance examination will undergo major adjustments and changes, which will completely break the situation of separating arts and sciences in senior high schools.
Although the subjects have undergone major reforms and adjustments, the total score of the college entrance examination remains unchanged at 750. Among them, Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages are compulsory subjects, and the full score of each subject is still 150, with a total score of 450. The full score of the three subjects selected is 100, so the full score of the college entrance examination is still 750.
