Academician Shen Changyu, Dean and Vice President of China Academy of Sciences, Cui Junzhi and Hong Jialin, relevant officials of China Academy of Sciences, Chinese family members, heads of academic affairs office, School of Mathematics and Science and other relevant departments, and Chinese teachers and students attended the opening ceremony. The class of Dalian University of Technology-Institute of Mathematics and System Science of China Academy of Sciences, where Hua is located, is one of the "Action Plans of Collaborative Education through Science and Education" jointly initiated by the Ministry of Education and China Academy of Sciences. Huaban, relying on the disciplinary advantages of talent training in Dalian University of Technology's National Basic Science Research and Teaching Talent Training Base and the strong scientific research strength, extensive international influence and high-quality talent training resources of the Institute of Mathematics and System Science of China Academy of Sciences, * * * cultivates top-notch talents in applied mathematics in the engineering field. The two sides * * * set up a joint working group of the Chinese class, which is fully responsible for the work of the Chinese class, and is headed by Vice President Li Chi Ngai of our school. The Institute of Mathematics and System Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences participated in the whole process of talent training, worked out the training plan and teaching outline of China together with Dalian University of Technology, and sent experts and scholars to participate in teaching activities and graduation thesis guidance. The first Chinese class of Dalian University of Technology-Institute of Mathematics and System Science of China Academy of Sciences was composed of 20 students, and was selected by a selection committee composed of experts from both sides after a comprehensive investigation of the academic performance and interview results of freshmen in the School of Mathematical Sciences. Huaban is a new measure to cultivate elite talents in our school. The school will include Hua's class in the school's innovative experimental plan and write it into the enrollment brochure of Dalian University of Technology.
