From the survey, we can see that most students lack strong interest in mathematics learning. The reasons are as follows: a few students are more difficult to learn mathematics than ordinary students because of their weak or defective basic knowledge of mathematics, and they cannot experience fun and success in mathematics learning, thus losing interest in mathematics learning; Another part of the students are not very interested in the math learning activities themselves. They think that mathematics learning is boring, and mathematics learning activities are nothing more than doing various exercises, and the forms of exercises are very simple, mostly calculating and solving application problems. Because of the lack of colorful activities and monotonous learning forms in mathematics learning, most students' interest in mathematics learning is greatly reduced.

In addition to learning math knowledge from math class under the teacher's organization, 35 students can finish the homework assigned by the teacher carefully, and 3 students can learn math textbooks on their own initiative, accounting for 8.6% of the total; 6 people often learn relevant mathematics knowledge by reading extracurricular books, accounting for17% of the total; There are 4 people who have a certain sense of mathematics and can learn relevant mathematics knowledge from life, accounting for 1 1% of the total. It is precisely because students' methods and ways to learn mathematics are very single. Among the 35 students surveyed, 13 students don't know the name of a mathematician, accounting for 37.1%of the total. There are 1 1 people who only know one mathematician, accounting for 31.4% of the total; Only four students know three or more mathematicians, accounting for only 1 1.4% of the total. Then, few students know the deeds of mathematicians, only three. It can be seen that the content of our students' mathematics learning is so single and the vision of mathematics learning is so narrow! Analysis of the reasons for this situation is nothing more than a deviation in the understanding of mathematics learning. Mathematics curriculum standards clearly point out that the basic starting point of compulsory mathematics curriculum is to promote students' all-round, sustained and harmonious development and improve their mathematics literacy. In actual teaching, on the one hand, teachers aim to learn mathematics well in textbooks and improve their academic performance, so as to gain the recognition of their teaching quality from higher education departments; On the other hand, the goal of parents and students is to get high marks in exams and lay a good foundation for further study. Imagine, if our math teachers can seriously follow the requirements of curriculum standards, improve students' math literacy in math teaching, provide students with relevant math background knowledge on the basis of learning textbook knowledge, or arrange students to collect and understand some math-related knowledge after class, organize and guide students to learn math well and develop their abilities in colorful activities, will the above phenomenon still occur?

Among the 35 students surveyed, 18 likes to compile handwritten newspapers, accounting for 51.4% of the total number of students surveyed; There are 2 people who don't like compiling handwritten newspapers, accounting for only 5.7% of the total survey. Children like to compile handwritten newspapers, because it is a new comprehensive learning method, which requires students to do a lot of work: practical activities, actual investigation, collection, screening, sorting out materials, making headlines, layout design, drawing and coloring. These are all children's favorite learning activities, which can also make their math learning lively and colorful.

By reading the questionnaire, it can be found that students know little about the method of making handwritten newspapers, and their knowledge about the design, layout, color matching and data collection of headlines only comes from tabloids made by others since the Enlightenment. Although many students have written handwritten newspapers in the process of learning Chinese, the Chinese teacher has not given specific guidance.

The findings are as follows:

The present situation of mathematics learning in primary schools is:

Student: Most students are not interested in math learning. Most of them study mathematics in order to get high marks, get the appreciation of their parents and teachers, or lay a good foundation for entering high school and going to college in the future. The space and time for them to study mathematics are relatively narrow, generally confined to schools, classrooms and math textbooks. The learning style is relatively simple, the method is relatively passive and the learning content is relatively boring. Bruner, an American contemporary psychologist, said: "The best motivation for learning is that students have an innate interest in the materials they learn." If primary school students can master scientific and flexible learning methods and pay attention to understanding and learning mathematics in various ways, then they will definitely have a strong interest in mathematics learning and will definitely improve the efficiency of mathematics learning.

Teachers: Although quality education has been implemented for many years, and the mathematics curriculum standard has been published in 200 1, the present situation of mathematics education in primary schools is still very worrying. With the in-depth development of quality education, higher education departments avoid talking about "exam-oriented education", but the inspection of the teaching quality of schools and teachers is still mainly in the form of "unified examination" and "random examination", focusing on the degree of students' mastery of mathematics knowledge, which leads most teachers to pay too much attention to the study of textbook knowledge, even regard it as the whole of mathematics learning, and put the improvement of students' ability to take exams in the first place; As a result, our mathematics learning is boring, and most students learn mathematics mechanically and passively, while a few students are tired of learning. When many students mention mathematics, it seems that they are caught in the sea of questions, as if they are trapped at the foot of the mountain and suddenly lose their vitality.

(3) Experimental research

On the basis of understanding the present situation, enter the experimental research stage: using the action research method, explore the methods and ways to guide primary school students to create and write mathematical handwritten newspapers.

The first stage: learn the general compiling method of handwritten newspaper. First of all, I took the students to learn the relevant knowledge of handwritten newspaper compilation: the determination of theme, the design skills of registration, the design method of layout, the selection of content, the setting of columns, the configuration of pictures and so on. Then let the students try to compile a mathematical handwritten newspaper, comment on it with the handwritten newspaper compiled by the students, and praise the good part in time. On this basis, let the students edit it again and make an exhibition evaluation to stimulate students' interest.

The second stage: learning to compile mathematical manuscripts. The focus of this stage is to enable students to independently write handwritten newspapers on their own topics. Although the theme is self-defined, the first step is for teachers to unify the theme, guide students to collect relevant information closely around the theme, rationally design registration, scientifically design layout, flexibly set columns, and how to configure beautiful pictures. It took the children about two weeks to edit a handwritten newspaper. I asked them to post handwritten newspapers on the walls around the classroom. We visit each other, comment on each other and communicate with each other. The atmosphere of the activity was quite warm, and everyone benefited a lot from it. Next, students can choose their own topics to write mathematical manuscripts. Some take the story of mathematicians as the theme, some take the quickness of mathematics as the theme, and some take the humor of mathematics as the theme ... This mathematical handwritten newspaper is very effective. I used a big display board to show it in the whole school, and the children's works were well received by all the teachers and students.

The third stage: combined with mathematics textbooks, write a unit special issue. After learning the knowledge of a unit, guide students to systematically sort out the knowledge of the unit, break the original order and re-classify and integrate, and closely focus on the learning content of the unit, and compile a special issue of the unit of mathematics handwritten newspaper. On this basis, guide students to flexibly arrange and design the contents of the special issue of the unit, such as collecting small mathematical materials related to the knowledge of this unit and constructing "Do you know?" ; You can sort out the problems you often make in this unit and build a column of "Mathematical Hospital". You can sum up your own skills and experience in learning this unit and build a column "self-presentation"; You can write your own whimsy and unique solutions and build a column "Show Your Skills". ..... In the process of writing mathematical handwritten newspaper, students comprehensively apply basic knowledge, make bold attempts and explore problems independently. While cultivating students' creativity and developing their individuality, we should create a stage for ourselves to show themselves.

4. Conduct the questionnaire survey again.

After completing the experimental research, I conducted a post-experimental investigation on the original students at the end of April 2003. The survey results show that through the research activities of this topic, primary school students' mathematical knowledge is enriched, their mathematical horizons are broadened, their interest in learning mathematics is improved, and the knowledge they have learned in mathematics classroom is consolidated and deepened, thus improving their learning efficiency.
