What does AMC mean?
AMC (American Mathematical Competition) is the abbreviation of American Mathematical Competition, which was founded by American Mathematical Association in 1950. It is a middle school math activity organized by the American Mathematical Society for the whole country, which is equivalent to the national junior high school math league and the national senior high school math league in China. It is the first competition selected by IMO team in the United States.
