This journal was founded in 1992 on the basis of Mathematics Abstracts for Middle Schools (first published in1July, 984). The original publication was called "Mathematics Teaching in Middle School", but in 2000 it was renamed as "Mathematics Teaching in Junior Middle School" and "Mathematics Teaching in Senior Middle School". This journal closely follows the reality of mathematics teaching in middle schools, adheres to the direction of serving education, teaching and scientific research, and strives to be of practical help to readers, give full play to the professional advantages of colleges and universities, and introduce "applied educational theory and learned problem-solving skills" featuring "research on elementary mathematics teaching and learning". Over the past 20 years, as a platform for communication between teachers and students, college students and graduate students in middle schools, nearly 10,000 articles have been published, such as research papers on middle school mathematics teaching and guidance on problem-solving methods, which are deeply loved by middle school mathematics teachers, middle school students, mathematics enthusiasts and parents of students. In 2003, it was changed from 32 format to 16 format, which is richer in content, more practical, readable and knowledgeable.
