Recommended institutions: University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University.
Application points:
University of Hong Kong: Students with two years' experience in financial institutions, banks and government supervision are preferred. Without work experience, students need a strong academic background to hope to be admitted. Although there is no mandatory requirement to submit GMAT scores, students with high GMAT scores will have a competitive advantage.
Chinese University of Hong Kong: Non-business students with a solid foundation in quantitative analysis can also apply. Although it is not explicitly stipulated that applicants should have work experience, most of them have work experience, so having work experience can enhance the competitiveness of the application.
Hong Kong Polytechnic University: Unlike the master's degree in finance from the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the master's degree in finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University does not require applicants to have much work experience. This is the advantage of fresh graduates.
City University of Hong Kong: City University offers three master's degrees in finance, namely finance, financial engineering and financial services. 2-4 years working experience is preferred. If they don't have much work experience, they'd better have excellent academic background and GMAT/GRE scores.
Hong Kong Baptist University: It is the only master's major in accounting and finance in Hong Kong.
