Himcm mathematical modeling paper, can a teacher specify it? I can't write.
HiMCM (High School Mathematical Modeling Competition) is an international mathematical competition sponsored by COMAP, an American non-profit organization. HiMCM competition started at 1999, and has become an important event for high school students all over the world in recent years.

This competition is designed under the background of the success of American college students' mathematical modeling competition, drawing lessons from the model of college students' mathematical modeling competition and combining the characteristics of middle school students. HiMCM is carried out in the form of teamwork, aiming at improving the problem-solving ability and writing ability of senior high school students participating in the team. Hicm team has a maximum of four people, and 20 19HiMCM has cancelled the ten-day time limit, so you can finish your paper in 13 days.

Reward proportion setting

Excellent winner: the number of winning teams shall not exceed 65438+ 0% of the total number of teams.

National final: 20 17 HiMCM has cancelled the final prize.

Finalist: The number of winning teams shall not exceed 7% of the total number of teams.

Meritorious service: The number of winning teams accounts for about 12% of the total number of teams.

Honor mention: The number of winning teams accounts for about 365,438+0% of the total number of teams.

Successful participation: the team that successfully completed the modeling paper.

Competitive reference process

1. Organize a team:

Ensure that students can use computers to complete word processing and use dynamic models related to graphics and geometry to make spreadsheets. In addition, students should be able to use a graphic calculator.

2. Invite the competition instructor:

A qualified and ideal lecturer should often visit COMAP website to find products about "model" for his students. The official summer newsletter contains the winning papers or abstracts of the winning teams in last year's competition.

3. Power of attorney of guardian:

Parents of all participating students must sign the power of attorney of parents/guardians to ensure that their children's works can be used as examples of some activities or training materials of HiMCM.

4. Prepare the thesis:

When the team is ready, the instructor can log on to the website to get the competition questions.

You can choose one of the questions A and B in the contest:

You can use any inanimate resources, such as data, materials, computers, software, documents, websites, books and so on. All resources used need to indicate the reference source.

6. The paper must be written in English:

Solutions must be provided in the form of papers, including text, graphics, tables and other written materials. Non-thesis forms, such as computer programs, are not accepted.

7. Solution considerations:

It is very important that the paper is concise and organized. The main points and results should be put forward. Summarize or restate the appropriate questions. Give a clear explanation of all variables, assumptions and hypotheses. The analysis of the problem, the construction and proof of the model are given. It must include the design of the model and discuss how to test the model.

8. During the competition, the coach should complete the following tasks:

Log in to the competition website by entering your email address and password. Enter the names of team members and make sure they are spelled correctly. Select the problem that the team wants to solve. Print control page and summary page. Prepare and submit the solution.

9. Send the electronic version of the paper by e-mail.

Each team needs to send the electronic version of the paper to solutions@comap.com. Any team member or lecturer can upload it through this email.

10. Summary

Restate the question in your own words. Reasonable assumptions, and emphasize the role of these assumptions in solving problems, and list all variables used in the model.

Selection result of 1 1.himcm

The results of the competition will be published on the competition website. Each team that submits the solution paper correctly will receive a certificate. The papers of the Outstanding Achievement Award will be published in the newsletters of COMAP and other institutions.
