Mathematics in science and engineering is really difficult, and the difficulty is a bit like a competition. Most people can get into the exam, which is already very powerful, and they all get extra points through professional courses. English and politics are easy to get points as long as you are willing to work hard, and mathematics is simply for people with particularly smart brains.

Math 2 to Math 4 are relatively easy to do, but the difficulty is definitely more difficult than the paper given by the school exam! Of course it's easy, and the major is limited. Many majors don't take math test and don't give reading, so it's difficult for people to choose liberal arts majors or majors that don't take math test.
