There are four unified college entrance examination subjects in our province, namely Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, liberal arts comprehensive/science comprehensive. The "Program" proposes that starting from 20021,the unified college entrance examination subjects are Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages, and the full score of each subject is still 150. Regardless of arts and sciences, foreign language subjects provide two examination opportunities, and the best score is included in the total score.
The total score of candidates consists of three subjects (compulsory subjects) of unified college entrance examination, Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages, and three subjects (optional subjects) of high school level examination.
The three subjects of the high school level examination are selected by candidates from the ordinary high school level examination subjects such as ideological and political, history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology according to their own interests and the requirements of the schools and majors to be applied for. Scores are distributed according to grades, and their scores, grades and scoring methods are stipulated in the implementation plan of comprehensive reform of college entrance examination in our province.

In order to meet the demand of economic and social development for skilled talents, and at the same time help higher vocational colleges to select talents suitable for their own training objectives, so that students can choose education suitable for them, the "Program" makes it clear that the examination enrollment of higher vocational colleges is relatively separated from the unified college entrance examination, and the evaluation method of "cultural quality+vocational skills" is implemented.
Starting from 20021,the enrollment time of higher vocational colleges was arranged in the spring of that year. Ordinary high school graduates apply for higher vocational colleges, and their cultural quality scores use the results of the high school academic level test and participate in the vocational adaptability test; Secondary vocational school graduates apply for higher vocational colleges and take part in the examination combining cultural foundation with vocational skills.
According to the relevant regulations, higher vocational colleges determine the conditions and admission standards, and announce them in the enrollment charter in advance. Based on the results of "cultural quality+vocational skills", the selection is made according to the comprehensive quality evaluation of ordinary high school students or the ideological and moral evaluation of secondary vocational school students. Students can also take the unified college entrance examination and enter higher vocational colleges.
