My major in college now is computer science and technology. If you want to learn programming, you must learn discrete mathematics. Discrete mathematics is listed as a compulsory course for computer majors in any university. But you still look like a junior high school student. It may be a little difficult to learn, but I think it should be no problem as long as you are willing to work hard (because you say you are not bad at math, come on! )
