Mai Jia is a famous contemporary novelist and screenwriter. Mai Jia/KLOC-0 was born in Fuyang, Zhejiang Province in 1964. He was admitted to the Radio Department of the PLA College of Engineering and Technology with a score of 60 because of the college entrance examination in 198 1 00 and 98 in physics. In an interview, Mai Jia recalled his childhood: when he was a child, he was discriminated against by his classmates because of his poor family composition, and he could not make friends. I am very lonely. Keeping a diary is the only channel for me to communicate with others. Diary is my only friend and a lonely figure. After writing a diary for more than ten years, I started writing novels when I saw that some novels were very similar to mine.

His works include Decryption, Plot Against (won the 7th Mao Dun Literature Prize), Wind, Wind Talk, Knife Point, etc. The movie Wind is adapted from Wind, and The Listener is adapted from Assassination.

Mai Jia read a letter to his son in Reader. My son hasn't communicated with his parents for three years. Later, after he was admitted to the university and went to America, the Mai family secretly stuffed a notebook in his son's suitcase. There are two envelopes in it: one is full of 2000 dollars, and the other is this letter. My son returned two tearful expressions after reading it, but only these two expressions made Mai cry, such as unloading the burden.
