How to Improve Primary School Students' Mathematical Error Correction Ability
How to improve primary school students' mathematical error correction ability has become a problem that we math teachers can't ignore. Based on many years of mathematics teaching practice, the author puts forward some views on how to improve students' ability of correcting errors in mathematics.

First, the analysis of the cause of the error

So how did these mistakes come about? Through my careful analysis, it can be roughly divided into the following categories: 1. Some students often don't read the whole topic, or read it halfway, or miss a few words, or read it wrong. 2. The writing is incorrect. Numbers and operation symbols are often used in math problems, and some students copy them wrong because of scribbling. 3. The calculation is not careful. Some simple calculations are wrong because of mental paralysis, and complex calculations are wrong because the draft is not typed or typed casually. 4. The inspection is not in place. Some students turn a blind eye to the inspection, while others pretend that they don't know what to check. How to check?

Second, measures and methods to avoid mistakes

(A) students should attach great importance to. Some students have a misunderstanding that carelessness is not a problem, just pay attention next time. In fact, the existence of this idea means that carelessness cannot be changed. Therefore, the teacher should tell the students seriously: "Carelessness is a disease, and it is a very serious disease. If you don't get rid of this bad habit, it will affect your academic performance and even your life in important exams. Of course, you won't change the paper because of carelessness, so you must make up your mind to change it. " Only when students realize the seriousness of the problem will they consciously change, otherwise no matter what your teacher says, because they haven't really realized it ideologically, it's all in vain.

(2) Teachers should guide effectively. In fact, why do students make these mistakes repeatedly? The key is that students usually have bad study habits. Then, as teachers, what good study habits should we guide students to develop? First, form the habit of listening carefully in class. Because most of students' knowledge is acquired in class, if students don't form good listening habits, many knowledge points will make mistakes because they don't hear them. Therefore, teachers must ask students to look at the teacher with their eyes and listen to the teacher with their ears, and no small movements are allowed with their hands. If they are found not to abide by these disciplines, teachers can criticize them in time and take appropriate punishment when necessary. Second, develop the habit of standardized writing. There are standard requirements for the writing of homework in all subjects. There are two basic requirements for the standardization of math homework writing: 1. The format is correct. 2. Write correctly. As far as the former is concerned, different types of questions and exercises have different writing formats. Teachers should teach students to master the formats of various questions and ask them to use these writing formats. The latter should make students understand why writing should be standardized. Teachers can give examples. Let students realize the importance of standardized writing. Secondly, students are required to write their homework slowly and correctly.

(3) Parents should actively cooperate. Some problems students may develop at home, such as playing before doing homework after going home, or doing homework while watching TV. Slowly, students have developed the habit of not doing their homework seriously, which leads to not doing their exams seriously. So parents must discipline their children at home. First of all, parents should give their children a quiet working environment. Conditional parents can arrange a separate study room for their children, while those without conditions should at least give their children a quiet place to do their homework with peace of mind. Secondly, parents should educate their children to do their homework before playing. That is, never play until you finish your homework. Because children are young and have poor self-control, sometimes they can't stand the temptation of TV, internet, playing and eating. Finally, parents should insist on checking their children's homework every day. 1. Check whether the job is completed. The teacher had better ask the students to prepare a homework notebook. ) Parents can check the homework in their notebooks one by one. 2. Check whether the homework is completed seriously. You can tell by the handwriting. If parents know this course, they can also check whether the homework is correct. In order to help children correct the wrong questions.

Third, effective coping methods.

(1) Each student prepares an error record book to record the mistakes that should not be made in homework or exams, such as "incomplete examination", "incorrect writing", "careless calculation" and "inadequate examination". Then the students record the errors in the corresponding positions according to the types of errors, and finally analyze and correct the causes of the errors.

(2) Carefully examine the questions when doing them. In other words, you must read the topic clearly and completely from beginning to end. Don't just read half a sentence, or miss half a sentence. Teachers can train students to read more questions in peacetime. Students are required to meet the "three noes" requirements of not reading fast, not missing, not reading questions and not doing. Among them, the teachers of junior students can use the method of reading the questions while using their hands.

(3) Write carefully when doing the problem. It is not uncommon for students to misread or copy numbers because of irregular or incorrect writing when doing problems. Therefore, on the one hand, teachers should set rules at the beginning: all scribbled words should be redone, and several typical examples should be implemented in time, so that students are bound to write correctly. As the saying goes, "Without rules, there would be no Fiona Fang." This sentence is very reasonable. On the other hand, teachers praise or reward students who write correctly, so as to promote the enthusiasm of those students who scribble, and gradually let students develop good writing habits.

(4) check the completion of the topic. Many students don't have the habit of checking. They always think that everything will be fine if the topic is done well, but the result is full of mistakes. This is actually not the fault of the students. After all, students don't know how to check. What should I check? Even if some students are checking, it is the same as not checking, so it is necessary for the teacher to tell the students how to check. There are many ways to check: if there are some questions, you can replace the answers, such as solving equations; Moreover, some questions can be checked by different methods, such as simple calculation questions, which can be checked by general methods; In addition, for example, whether the units in the topic are unified, whether the units have forgotten to write or made mistakes, and so on.

In short, it is inevitable that students will make mistakes when doing problems. The key is how teachers are good at finding mistakes and using them to effectively guide students so that students can avoid similar mistakes. I believe that with the joint efforts of teachers, parents and students, we will certainly overcome difficulties on the road of wrong questions, move towards success, and realize the goal of "winning through education" as soon as possible.
