First of all, I remember posting that primary school olympiad is not suitable for all children to study deeply. Attention is deep learning, and there are very few children who can really learn olympiad well. It can be said that it is rare, otherwise it is not called extraordinary education, and not all children are suitable. But now, due to the imbalance of educational resources, the "gap between the rich and the poor" between schools is getting bigger and bigger, which leads to difficulties in selection and funding, resulting in years of Olympic fever. Parents and students spend a lot of time, energy and money on Olympic competitions in order to further their studies. The more students learn, the more tired they are, and the less confident they are. This is a vicious circle. If they don't learn olympiad well, their confidence will be lost. However, some children, after spoon-feeding training, seem to learn Olympiad well, but in fact they deviate from the true connotation of Olympiad-innovation, which leads to rigid thinking and inadaptability to junior high school thinking habits. The first lesson in some middle schools is: forget the Olympiad and learn again.
So the Olympiad is just a wolf, a tiger and a leopard? No. There are two situations. First, your child is excellent and really knows some math methods. Congratulations, not surprisingly, your child should have entered the mathematics experimental class of RDF or No.4 Middle School. Then, prepare for the national league, prepare to walk to high school, then prepare for the Olympic Games, and then walk to Tsinghua Peking University. This is a road covered with flowers and sweat.
Second, if your child is not very good at math, he should also learn Olympic Mathematics, but don't just aim at further education. There are still many mathematical ways of thinking in Olympic Mathematics that are worth learning. Learning some ways of thinking is the true meaning, which will bring unimaginable benefits to your junior high school, senior high school and even lifelong learning. This is a bit big, but it is true.
Specifically, the first grade should learn some Olympic mathematics. Because of the uneven distribution of difficulty in junior high school for three years, there is a saying: the first volume is up and down, the second volume is up and down, and the third day is up and down.
What is the reason? Two reasons. One is objectivity. Mathematics in senior one is difficult and indistinguishable. The difficulty of the second year of high school suddenly increased, and the difficulty of physics in the next semester of the second year of high school also suddenly increased, which made the students in a hurry and confused. The school children who use the textbook of Beijing curriculum reform are even worse, and physics in the first semester of Grade Two has entered a difficult point. Another reason is subjective, but it is caused objectively. Children in senior one are very relaxed in mathematics, and "gnawing at the roots" will pass. The nerves of mathematics have been relaxed, and everything is like this. If you don't use it, it will degenerate. After one month's study in senior two, I found something was wrong, my brain was out of control and my math scores plummeted. At this point, it is difficult to fold that string.
How to prevent it? It's simple. Learn some olympiad math in the first grade and practice your brain. Don't let your brain get cold. There are several math competitions in the second semester of senior one, among which Hope Cup is recommended to participate, which is not difficult, especially for the first test, and all children will know it. Pay attention to the mentality of participation. I'm not trying to win a prize, it's just a legend. I'm trying to practice my hands, keep warm, and let myself develop my ability. By the second day of junior high school, I'll be "seven up" instead of "eight down".
After warming up in the first grade, I passed the second grade safely, and my grades were not bad. Do you still need to learn olympiad? My suggestion is that as long as you don't participate in the national league, you can stop studying and devote all your energy to the senior high school entrance examination. Mathematics in the senior high school entrance examination is not difficult, enough for children to drink a pot. If the children find it meaningless to finish the senior high school entrance examination in the third grade, they might as well do another competition.
